At first, I think I was simply dreaming, but after a few seconds, hearing this, I know that I am hearing right. I move out of bed to investigate, wondering what in the world could be happening, all of a sudden.
I am aware that I am still at the Cullen residence, and I'm still in my evening dress, but I'd taken off my shoes a long time ago.

I have heard of people, wishing that they could go back in time, to undo, the undone now. At some point, my thoughts had taken me there, where I wished, that night was different.
