last update Last Updated: 2022-12-16 13:51:30

Two days passed and we never recovered from the unfortunate incident involving me, my wife, and Lissa. I kept pleading with my wife for forgiveness. The issue reached my dad, who immediately called me for a talk because the business hadn't been doing well after that day with Lissa. However, I explained how everything had unfolded and how my emotions had gotten the better of me. He also called me and my wife for an indoor meeting where My father remarked to Edna, who was sitting next to me and was quiet and upset, "I heard what happened between the two of you Edna, which is why I had called on you both today. I had love to hear from you straight, do not leave anything unsaid simply empty your mind out."

She began by saying, "Adrian has never loved me, sir," sounding as though she were going to cry, but she refrained, snorted, and continued.

She remarked with tears in her eyes, "I have always done my best to help Adrian recover and also be a nice wife to him but it has never been enough to replace that emptiness, after hearing Adrian narrative with his ex which was absolutely terrible, I have always upheld my vow with all of my heart and have never once defined our matrimonial vows. I have always done everything in my power to help him heal from his loss, even after God blessed us with a baby son named Jason. I thought that having this little boy in our lives would help him get past those difficult times, but sadly, the arrival of Jason hasn't been enough for him.

She added, "I'm wounded sir, I never for once thought Adrian will disgrace and embarrass me this way. He pledged to stand by me in the good times and the difficult times, and I believed him. Only to catch my husband pants down with the same woman he claimed was dead". She said as  tears started to roll down her cheek, my dad quickly handed her a napkin to wipe her face.after hearing those heartbreaking words from my  wife , I was emotionally down casted and distraught. I felt like I had been so selfish and wicked toward her that I had only thought about myself without even considering what she might be feeling and going through with the way I had handled the whole situation, which I came to realized was totally wrong.

I closed my eyes, knowing I had made a mistake. "I'm so sorry baby" I sighted and continue. "I know I've screwed up so badly. I know I've treated you unfairly. You stuck to your marriage vows, but I on the other hand failed miserably. I kept clinging to the past when the future was calling. I know I'm not even deserving of a second chance. If you decide to separate right now, that's totally your prerogative, but I really want to take this opportunity to ask for one more chance, Baby please let's make this work again, just think about our son Jason, please I'm begging you for the sake of our son, he needs to grow up with the love of both his parents, please we can do this, we can make this work again, and I swear on you and our son that this will never happen again, everything that happened that day was due to a moment of emotions and weakness, and I promise this will never happen again," I said as I grabbed both of her hands, and we both stood up and hugged each other, tears Rolling down both our cheek this was definitely going to be a new era in our marriage. After coming to an agreement with each other, we both lingered over to spend time with my parents, played in the garden, we had dinner, and then returned back home, beaming and relieved that the storm was finally over.

After we got back, I went right back to work, feeling more at ease and calm. I could see some of the staff looking at me funny because they were talking to each other as if they had heard about what had happened with me and my wife. I went into my office, where my PA quickly came to inform me of all the work that had been done while I was away as well as the documents that were ready and waiting for my signature. I was also going to have six business meetings,  which were scheduled for the that day.

I started working right away because I knew I would have a very stressful day as my desk was so crowded and overflowing with work. Later in the day,  I had to leave for a scheduled business meeting. I worked nonstop today, signing documents and attending to six different meetings. When I finally finished my work, I was visibly exhausted, which is why I left the office for home.

I decided to go to the grocery store to buy my lovely wife some flowers. I am now very happy. When I returned home with the flowers and gave them to Edna, she was overjoyed and gave me a big hug to show it. After dinner, we ended the evening in the bedroom where we made passionate love. We have been making love for a long time, but this time was different because I was all over her thrusting into her while she on the other hand surrendered herself and body to me , she couldn't help but moaned intensely and slowly,we made love in all corners of the room.

We spent the night together, and it felt like a new era, as though we had just gotten married. I woke up the next morning feeling so refreshed and motivated, while getting ready for work,  Edna convinced me to get my breakfast. I only managed to eat a small portion of it because I was running late for work. I then hurried out of the house and zoomed off to work, where I continued my work from where I left off the night before.I was so damn busy with work when I got an sms buzz on my phone, I immediately checked and then boom it was Lissa again.

"Jesus Christ, what is she doing now? After all the damage she did "I murmured to myself as I rubbed my temple (forehead) with my palm, unsure of what to do about her since she had wanted a meeting with me. Just as I was getting lost in my thoughts, my friend Josh came over, and I instantly felt better.

He walked with his distinctive walking gait and said, "Hello, brother. Good morning to you." I got up to shake his hand.

He inquired, "How are you doing, my man? " I replied with a puzzled expression, "I guess I am good."

"Well, from the looks of things, you don't seem good at all; in fact, what's up my friend? You look far from fine to me."

I inhaled deeply. With a slight outburst, I shouted, "Look, I'm so sick of this lady"

"Which lady?" asked josh.

"Who else could I be referring to, besides Lissa, of course, Josh?"

"What?! What? After the argument she started between you and your wife, what does she want this time?" Josh shouted.

I retorted, "She wants us to meet."

"Also, for what?" Josh posed a more enquiring question.

I retorted, "How am I supposed to know that."

"I believe you should speak with her, but only to clarify the situation and inform her that you are now a family man and that what she wants from you is not possible." Josh said with a more concerned tone.

"Really?! Can that work? "I questioned at a more defeated moment.

"I don't care, Your focus must only be on your company and your family, plain and simple. She needs to accept that life doesn't want you both to be together, or else it will be a major disaster for you, and you probably don't want that to happen. Your one priority right now is the need to protect your family from another scandal. You can't just sit around and wonder why she keeps bothering you. How are you even going to run the company smoothly with a diverted attention "said Josh.

I said, taking a long breath, "You're really right Josh, that's the best thing at the moment".After talking with my friend Josh, I made the decision to take his advice and visit Lissa just to make sure she understands that we can't be together because I have moved on with my family and she needs to do the same. Later that evening, when work was finished, I signed out of the office, finished my work there, and then I headed to my car to get in. I looked at my phone to see the address of where I will be meeting her(Lissa),it was actually the popular hotel royale at lekki,i immediately switch on the car engine and then i zoomed off to the hotel.I stepped out of the car and proceeded to the hotel, where I was greeted by the hotel secretary, a stunning woman with fair skin. When I asked her about Lissa and her hotel room, she informed me that she had been expecting me and pointed me in the direction of her room (501) I approached the room, knocked on the door, and it opened to reveal Lissa in her sexy bikini underwear. She appeared more like a snack ready to be devoured, and she looked at me seductively as if she were going to eat me before dragging me inside the room.

Without pausing at all, she closed the door behind me and immediately pressed her lips to mine. She didn't even care if I was interested in the romance; she just went ahead and kissed me greedily and profusely. Without pausing, she pushed me onto the bed and without thinking, she pounced on me. As she started to take off my shirt, she was finished and immediately reached down to grab my rod, as i immediately felt that sensation inside of me I immediately surrendered myself to her, as she went to detached my belt from my trouser, and after she was done with that she immediately unzipped my trouser and was about to advance just then I remember the promise I made to my wife (Edna) at my dad's house, this can't be happening again I thought in my head as immediately pushed her off of me,She was so shocked that I could stop her at the height of romance—something that had never happened before when we were still dating—that I immediately got out of bed and put my clothes back on. She stepped closer to me and said.

"Why did you push me away in that manner, baby boy?, Is there anything wrong?" She enquired in a flirtatious tone.

I was covered from head to toe in wrath "Do you really mean to ask me that right now?, You want to know if there's a problem?, Okay, guess what? There is a significant issue, which is why I am present—to put an end to this issue once and for all "I spoke while panting quickly and having crazy eye glow.

She approached me and attempted to touch me, but I resisted her advances.

"If there is a problem, then why would you come this far just to meet up with me in an hotel room" she said with great boldness.

I didn't come here to talk nor play with you, Lissa; I came to let you know that I have a family now, I am married with a son, look you need to accept and realize that everything we ever  shared is now in the past it's can't work no more. I have moved on with my life, and I think you should do the same thing too because you deserve better. You should give someone else a chance to show you what true love is. You should settle down, Lissa." I said in a more calmed tone.

Well, every attempt I made to convince her to accept reality failed because she came right back at me and tried to kiss and hold me. I quickly pushed her to the bed.

"What's up, are you deaf? Can't you hear what I've been saying? Lissa, I'm married; I'm fucking married! And we can't be together. You need to understand this and find peace. Me and you can't work together any longer. I can't be unfaithful to my wife and my vows. I want to be a better husband and an amazing father. Is that too much to ask?" I yelled at her, looking so enraged and angry that my eyes were glowing with life and fire and my chest was rapidly rising.

My heart was racing as I stormed out of the hotel room, just then I received a text from my wife asking me to return home, which apparently means she's already missing me . After viewing my wife, (Edna) SMS, ,'s I relaxed and got in my car before buzzing off.

Adrian stirred slightly on the couch, unaware of the warm sunlight filtering through the curtains upstairs. His wife, Edna, still lay in bed, her face softly illuminated by the early morning sun.
