Chapter 27: The Forbidden Forest

2024-10-29 19:42:56Lilith couldn't help but be nervous as Adrian led her through the portal of hell, her parents following closely behind, they were wearing the footwear Jokūbas gave her the first time she went through the portal.
Lilith looked around, the place was still as dark and creepy as ever, the sun and moon shined brightly down at them, before dimming.
"They shine together?" Her mother asked.
"It only happens when we're both in the realm," Lilith answered as a shadow flew towards them stopping in front of Adrian.
"Kolan, what is it?" Lilith nor her parents could understand what the demon was saying but by the look on Adrian's face, it was something serious.
"Update me later if more disappear." Kolan flew off into the shadows.
"What was that about?" Lilith walked down the dark path.
"Just some of the demons on patrol went missing, fur was left on all of the borders." She could tell he was worried as the frown on his face was deeper.

I made this so you guys can have a better understanding of the book and people in it! Lilith stared at the fire on the trees putting it out with ease, she knew she wasn't doing this by herself as she could feel Adrian's presence, she knew he could control fire with just a look.
