CHAPTER SEVENTY SEVEN

Lenora's Pov:

I scurried away from him, watching the man get up on the bed.

Ignoring his stare, I hurried in the bathroom direction.

“Where do you think you are going?” He looked at me with confusion.

I ignored him and ran into the bathroom, which if I thought about it I did very often.

I squeezed my eyes shut the moment I got in the bathroom, blaming myself for my stupidity. The little drink I took must have taken over.

Finally, I came out and walked into the room, still ignoring his gaze.

“Running away won’t do you any good, you know?” He said the moment I was out.

I sneered at him. A knock suddenly came on our door, and I was a bit surprised.

“Are you expecting anyone?” I asked, but he shook his head negatively.

I wasn’t expecting anyone either.

With my brows snapped together, I walked towards the door and pushed it open. It was a bit surprising to see Bria.
