The family was now in shambles as James had failed to convince or even see the new president. The Kent family did not even know where to turn.

“We can send the most beautiful woman in our family to represent us in front of the new president. After all, our family has some of the top beauties in this city. We can send Rach-....... Celine.” Grandma Grace's expression changed to one of sadness on the sad memory. “Celine will go and make our case to the new President and hopefully he will show mercy to our company. If this fails, we are all doomed.”

“Grandma, I will do my best not to let you down. I will not leave without seeing him.” Celine Kent answered demurely as though she did not want the task of going to negotiate on behalf of the family. She also knew that if she managed to catch the eye of the new president, she might be set for life.

The family dispersed and waited for feedback from Celine.

The following morning, Celine arrived at York Enterprises Headquarters dressed to impress the new president. She requested to see the president at the reception and was directed to his office’s reception.

As she walked every man looked back twice to admire her beauty while every woman looked at her enviously.

She informed the president’s assistant of her need to see the new president but was told to wait until he was out of his current meeting. She was busy going through the documents containing her proposal that she did not get a look at the president as he walked past her but he had seen her. She only looked up as he entered the office with his back turned to her.

The back looked very familiar to her but she could not remember to whom it belonged. The only close resemblance was that useless man who was married to her late cousin but it could not be him. A useless bum like him could not even step foot in the entrance of this magnificent place.

Zach had instantly recognized Celine as he walked past her but only hoped that she had not seen him. If she recognized him at this juncture of his plan, it would fall apart in its entirety. Luckily she was busy with her documents that she had not seen him. He also knew that if she saw him, she would immediately dismiss the idea since she did not expect him to be capable at all.

Once he had settled in his office, he called his assistant to inform him that he was leaving to avoid seeing Celine. It was not yet time to make his identity known to the Kent family.

He did not have the information on the death of his wife which would be critical to his extermination of the entire Kent family.

Outside, Celine received the bad news. She would not get the chance to see the president today as he was leaving.

She protested, “But I just saw him enter his office right now. It will only take a few minutes of his time.”

“I’m sorry Miss Kent but there is nothing I can do. You can come back next week as the president is usually unavailable from Friday through the weekend. He will be back possibly on Tuesday. Try your luck then.”

Celine knew that the president was trying to put off their meeting but there was nothing to do but go back and report the matter to her grandma. It was going to be a long weekend for their family. She dejectedly left the company building to her car and drove off to her family mansion.

Back in the office, Zach took out his phone and called his butler, “I need you to make arrangements for me to meet Big Al in thirty minutes. Send me his location on the way.”

He took the elevator directly from his office to the president’s private garage and got into was ushered into a Rolls Royce by his driver. It appeared that his butler had already made the arrangements for his driving. the driver wound through the traffic as he drove to the west part of the city and came to a stop at the entrance to a very flash nightclub.

This was Big Al’s place. He asked his driver to drive off until he called him back as this was not an appropriate place to park such an expensive and conspicuous vehicle.

He walked to the club entrance but was stopped by two very muscular guards. “Who are you and why are you here? This is not a place that just admits any Tom, Dick, or Harry even if you drive a Lambo or a Ferrari. This is Aurous Club. The most luxurious and prestigious club in all of Creedmoor. So leave if you do not have a membership.”

“I am here to Albert Peters. Tell him that a friend is here to see him.”

“Who do you think you are to call Big Al by his name? You are asking for death. Let’s get him.” They both jumped to pounce on Zack but were immediately sent flying from a single kick by Zach.

The sound of bones cracking was heard as they both hit the metallic door behind them. One of the guards became unconscious immediately after hitting the wall with his head

Zach straightened his suit and roared at the guards, “Call your boss now or inform him that he will be seeing an end to his empire before nightfall. The consequences will be on your heads.”

The conscious guard of the two spoke into his walkie-talkie and received a very curt reply. The door slowly opened to reveal a long line of guards awaiting Zach over the threshold, holding knives and batons.

As they prepared to attack, a man in a flashy white suit walked to the front and spoke in an arrogant voice, “Who do you think you are to come to my place and think you can simply waltz in? Do you know who I am?”

“I know you are Big Al. I simply told your men I needed to see you but they chose violence so I had to use violence too. This matter doesn’t need to get ugly so let’s sit like civilized gentlemen and have a chat.”

“Who do you think you are to demand a meeting with me? Men, kill this bastard. Bring me his banged-up body after you are done. I need to find his family and show them a good time.” Big Al walked away without even turning back to look at Zach.

With a loud cry, the men ran towards Zach with their weapons raised him.

Do we know each other?”“You don’t know me but I know you. After all, you only have your power because of my money. Remember about four and a half years ago just before your rise to the biggest
