Bradville.
15th March 1876.Aiden was enthused. He pictured how tonight would look like at the town's party. They moved into Bradville some years ago and he had adjusted to the new environment as a vampire. He had found someone that he had feelings for and he pledged to himself that he would ask her out during the town's party. He was in front of the dressing mirror, wearing his tie. He wore a black suit with black shoes. He smiled after he finished dressing up, he looked at his wristwatch, it was 7:30 pm, and he had to leave before he was overdue for the party. He picked up the exact ring that he gave to Lynette and looked at it, he grinned. The ring was created by a warlock to prevent vampires from compelling humans. Any human who wore it was safe from compulsion. He picked up his black walking stick and headed out of the mansion. His brothers had left earlier, but he wanted to be at his best because she promised him that she would come to the party no matter what her parents said. When a vampire falls in love, they can't deny it because everything they feel becomes exacerbated. After a fifteen minutes drive, Aiden stepped on the stony path that led into the entrance of the mansion that she lived in, he braced himself taking quick short breaths before putting on a black cowboy cap over his head. He was looking astounding, he knocked on the door, and it opened freely. He wondered why Selena would leave the front door open. As he stepped into the living room, his eyes caught Selena's parents covered in a pool of blood with bite marks and scratches on their skin. He swallowed hard because their blood turned his thirst on, but he had to control himself. Her father was lying between the two couches while her mother was lying on the couch on the left. He heard an ear-piercing scream coming from the second floor and he rushed toward Selena's room with vampire speed meeting his younger brother, Darius, feeding on Selena. Aiden attempted to attack him, but he killed her in front of him.“Brother. I'm sorry. I was so hungry, I had to kill them.” Darius smirked before jumping out of the house through the window. He heard crashing, but before he could reach the window, Darius was gone. Aiden roared before he heard what he thought was the blaring of the siren, he saw the telephone that was lying next to Selena's dead body. He knew that she called the police when her parents were killed, and he sped out of the house. There was nothing he could do, he was not surprised because Darius had scourged their lives countless times.Present DayRecalling these memories made him wail in pain. That was his first time falling in love since they became vampires and his younger brother ruined his life. He couldn't allow him to do it again even if it meant that this family would fall apart. On second thought, he didn't want his family to fall apart, he knew that Darius was attempting to do the same thing he did in 1876, and every other year they fought among themselves. They left Bradville the next day and he didn't hear from Selena again. He sighed as stood up before speeding out of the woods. It was a few hours to midnight and he had to go home before he would come across the Vampire Huntress. He wasn't in the mood to entertain anyone because he would kill her over and over again if she tried to mess with him.Slamming the door, Aiden joined Beckham and Elijah who had been waiting for him in the living room.“Where is Colby?” Elijah asked, putting the bottle of bourbon down.“I thought he was with Darius.” Aiden replied.“He was looking for you.” Elijah squinted.“Why should he? I needed my time alone and I still do. I think you should find him.” Aiden concluded before scurrying to his room. Elijah sighed.“We have to find him.” Beckham announced.“Don't worry. I will find him myself,” Elijah said before heading toward the door. “I will be back soon.”“Did you successfully translate the note?” Amaya asked, she grasped the half-opened door while peering toward Hadrian who was focused on translating the note.“I think. This is a letter from a woman to her five sons.” Hadrian informed her.“I knew you could do it.” She mumbled excitedly.“If I may ask, who are these friends of yours?” Hadrian quizzed, urging her to come in. She locked the door after stepping in and waddling toward him.“The O'Connor Brothers.” Amaya answered.“Here we have Aiden, Beckham, Elijah, Darius, and Colby. This letter was written in the late nineteen hundreds.” Hadrian asserted adjusting his spectacle.“Um, did you figure out the year?” Amaya uttered.“1976.” He answered pointing at the letters in the note. She was agitated because Colby's name was on that paper. It meant that he must have started existing before 1976. It was 2050 and he still looked like a teenager.“That was seventy-four years ago.” Amaya calculated.“Hmm. It was the exact year, the first founding members of the hunter community were murdered. They were killed by Vampires. According to this note the writer says, ‘the time is nigh. The founding members will be killed along with the hunters that want to see that we cease to exist.’ This letter was written by their mother, Gwendolyn O'Connor.” He declared running his fingers on the note at the bottom left of the note where the name he mentioned appeared.“If their mother is a vampire then they are vampires.” Amaya analyzed.“I think we should call Marissa,” Hadrian said. “There is another name here, Zachary Taylor. It must be another Vampire. Amaya, you're dealing with five vampire brothers.” Hadrian scolded, raising his voice at the last sentence.“I'm sorry.” Amaya whined.“Go and get some rest. I have three lines of sentences left to finish the note and I would destroy it afterward.” Hadrian said.“Why?” Amaya asked.“Because they are vampires and they deserve to die.” Hadrian told her. She clenched her fist.“I think you should give them a chance.” Amaya suggested and he scowled.“This town has been infested with lurkers for decades. The only person I trust is you and Marissa!” Hadrian reprimanded. Colby might be a vampire, but he had a kind heart, he would have killed her because he had several opportunities, but he didn't instead he decided to become friends with her.Amaya slammed the door after she exited the library. She couldn't process what he heard about the O'Connor brothers. What she did not understand was why they didn't kill her, she was walking upstairs when she heard a knock on the door, she hurried toward it, and after opening it, she met Elijah.“How did you find my house?” She asked astoundingly.“I have been moving from house to house searching for Colby. Could you invite me in?” Elijah pleaded.“Sure. Come in. My brother is at the library and he's working on the note that Colby gave me.” Amaya said as she locked the door after Elijah walked in.“This place looks astonishing.” Elijah complimented.“Thank you. Could I ask a question?” Amaya said, facing him.“Go ahead, but I need to leave since Colby isn't here and I have to take that note with me. Where is your brother?” Elijah said so quickly that she hardly heard the last sentence.“I told you that he's in the library,” Amaya blared. “Are you a Vampire? Please don't lie to me because I like your brother and doing this would make things worse for us.”Elijah stopped breathing, he stared at her for some seconds, and tears dropped from her eyes when she understood that her brother was telling the truth.“Y..ye..yes. We are Vampires.” Elijah bawled. Beads of sweat covered her forehead, she moved her hands through her hair before Elijah sped to her, patting her back. He wasn't thinking of hurting the girl that was falling in love with his younger brother. He was different from Darius. He didn't want to ruin Colby's life just like Darius always ruined Aiden's life.“I'm sorry, but I promise that nothing will separate you and my brother.” Elijah assured.“Step away from my sister.” Hadrian said, appearing from the library, his hands were glowing gold.“It is ok. He's a good guy.” Amaya attempted to stop him.“But he's a vampire. Do you know how many people he must have killed?” Hadrian scolded.“But he didn't kill me,” She mumbled. “Why are your hands glowing?” Amaya noticed.“I said stay away from my sister.” Hadrian growled and his eyes flashed gold. First, Elijah thought that he was a werewolf, but he didn't hear any snarl or breaking of bones. They weren't the only supernatural in this town. The doorbell rang and Hadrian used his powers to open the door. Lo and behold, it was Marissa Hunter.“Just the perfect timing.” Marissa smirked when she saw Elijah before she dropped Colby's dead body.“You killed him.” Amaya cried scampering toward Colby's body, he pulled out the steak and caressed his face, tears dropped from her eyes and landed on Colby's face. His fingers moved.“Stay away from him, Amaya. He's dead. He's a vampire, he would kill you if he gets the opportunity.” Marissa taunted. Elijah chuckled when Marissa mentioned that he was dead.“I don't care!” Amaya glared at her.“Relax, Amaya. Colby is coming back.” Elijah told her. After those words, Colby gasped as he sat up.“I need to take him home. He needs blood.”“I can't let you do that.” Marissa maintained.“Hmm.” Elijah said with a side smile.“You came for the note. I think you should have it and go away. Stay away from my sister.”“Your sister has the right to make her choice. Don't do it for her.” Elijah smiled grimly.“Here.” Amaya said, putting her wrist in front of his mouth.“I can't feed on you.” He said without strength.“Just do it, Colby, please. I don't want to lose you.” Amaya sighed, she sniffled and tears dropped from her eyes. Colby looked at her, his face was still gray, his fangs dropped and he slowly dug them into her arms sucking her blood until his skin turned back to normal. Marissa was disgusted at the sight of this, she wished she could stop Amaya, but Elijah was right. It was her decision. He pulled away and Amaya fell into his arms.“I'm so sorry.” Colby caressed her hair.“It's alright. You're my mystery guy, remember.” Amaya smiled before closing her eyes.“She needs to rest.” Elijah told them, accelerating to Amaya. He lifted her from Colby's arms and put her on the couch. She exhaled.“I wasn't invited in.” Colby said when his head began to pound. Elijah sped to him, they rushed out of the house.“Please invite him in.” Elijah said as he sped back in.“Come in.” Hadrian uttered. Saying those words burned him in the heart, but he had to do it because of his sister. He knew Amaya and she wasn't the type of girl that would give up instead she would die trying. Colby sped in, he sat beside Amaya. He promised himself that he would stay here until she woke up even if the Vampire Huntress would sit beside him. He didn't care, he was in love with her.“Warlock. You'd better think of what you'd tell your little sister because I don't think she knows what you are,” Elijah raised an eyebrow before turning to Marissa. “Huntress, I believe you know the Vampire King. My brother just made a terrible mistake that would put my family in danger and I think a Vampire Clan would come after us. Either you work with us. We kill this King or you stay away from us.” He manipulated her.“How do you know him?” Marissa uttered.“My note and I will fill you in on everything you need to know. We might be needing a little magic.” Elijah smirked as he looked at Hadrian.“I will give you the note.” Hadrian said as he exited.“Darius compelled a normal vampire to kill the Vampire King. If the King finds out about us.” Colby announced.“He would love to be supreme. He would send his minions after you.” Marissa figured.“We came back to this town so we could start over, but everything changed when my brother saved a human girl and Colby found out about you. I came back to this town so I could find my mother because she has the answers I need.” Elijah proclaimed.“A stake through the heart couldn't kill you. You're special vampires.” Hadrian noted as he waddled into the living room.“My mother might be the only one who knows what could destroy us. She might be the only one who knows how we became Vampires because we have no idea.” Elijah affirmed, directing his gaze to Hadrian who was behind him.“Why would you want to find her?” Marissa quizzed.“I think I know how to find your mother.” Hadrian said confidently.Aiden's hands were placed on the dining table. Elijah returned home with Colby the previous night, they were about to decide whether to trust the warlock who was willing to aid them. It was a radiant day, the sun was glinting across the skies, burnishing tree tops, striking the earth's surface, and setting off an admirable glow. Aiden and Elijah were sitting opposite each other. The windows were open, and the velvet curtains were tied to an end. The centerpiece bowl was sitting in the middle of the dining table, it was filled with various fruits; red and green apples, bananas, and strawberries. “This note was written by our mother, Gwendolyn, in 1976 and our names were included, she must have hidden it here because she knew that one day we would search for her.” Elijah explained hoping that they would find their mother sooner.“She left clues.” Aiden guessed keeping his attention on the topic at hand. “Yes. I and Darius would be looking for a man named Zachary Taylor while you and Bec
Darius held Esmeralda on her neck with his elbow as he pushed her to a tree. She scratched her hands on the rough barks as she struggled to breathe before glaring at him. Behind Elijah was Gerald. “We could make this work nice and slow or I could torture you until you give me the information I need.” Darius faked a side smile while Elijah who was behind him scratched his chin. “Could you take it easy? You're hurting her.” Elijah beckoned, he wanted to get all the information he needed at once, but he wanted to do it without hurting anyone. Darius narrowed his eyes toward Elijah while Esmeralda struggled to be set free. “You are the reason why Vincenzo is being tortured.” Esmeralda snarled. “I couldn't have found a better way to execute him.” Darius returned his attention to Esmeralda. “The Vampire King is going to come for you.” Esmeralda looked into his eyes with hate. “Hmm. Does it matter?” Darius peeled into her eyes and she steadied her breathing. “Answer our questions trut
Marissa was sitting on the desk, her left leg was lying on it while her right was on the floor. Aiden kept his distance, but they kept gawking at each other, he didn't want to interfere in hunter business and he had agreed that whatever they did, they would do it together and none of them would keep secrets. “I was able to enter his unconscious and memory lane, but I couldn't proceed after 1756. I think that someone blocked your memories with magic.” Hadrian looked at Aiden before getting his gaze back to the book he was holding. “Were you able to get some information?” Marissa questioned wishing that Hadrian had figured out a way to kill them. “Death and disaster.” Hadrian glanced at Aiden again. “I'm not surprised. We have been through a lot as a family.” Aiden shook his head. Marissa scoffed. A vampire was no good and hearing that they had been in pain made her feel delighted. “Why won't you kill Darius?” Hadrian said disgusted with even mentioning his name. “Do you thin
Aiden rolled on the bed, moving his hands on the blanket, his hand touched short strands of hair, but he noticed that it wasn't as long and silky as Lynette's hair. He opened his eyes and met Darius lying next to him. “Brother.” Darius smirked. He jumped out of the bed glaring at Darius, he was wearing ash shorts, revealing his packs and muscles. A large amount of hair covered his chest and it would keep a lady gawking at him with her mind lost in thoughts of how romantic it would be to lay on or touch his chest. Darius was wearing black trousers exposing his hairy and muscular chest. He slanted his head forward and Aiden turned. His gaze caught what he couldn't behold, he couldn't believe it. How on earth did she get there? Lynette was nailed to the wall, blood was trickling down her hands, and she had been bleeding, but he could tell that she wasn't dead, he could still hear her heart throbbing and begging for another life. “Her blood smells nice. Why don't you just have a bite
Regaining consciousness, Aiden punched him and he fell back, groaning. “You have to leave Arcadia Falls or I will lock you up and you would never see broad daylight again.” Aiden threatened, squatting close to Darius whose vision was dangling. Three blood bags were next to him, he could sniff them, he grabbed them, tearing them apart with his fangs and gulping the red liquid. The gray pigment that covered his skin gradually disappeared. He glared at Beckham as he stood on his feet. “I couldn't let you hurt that innocent lady.” Beckham reasoned. “You must have a reason for saving her ass.” Darius gave a side smile. “Why would you keep hypnotizing vampires?” Aiden gritted his teeth as he grimaced at Darius. “Esmeralda was from Vadim's clan. She came to deliver a message and he attacked her.” Beckham explained. “What message?” Aiden inquired. “The Vampire King wants us to bow before him.” Beckham confirmed. “I would rather die than bow before a man I can tear apart.” Darius scorne
“What happened? Why is everyone moody?” Colby asked after opening the door and noticing their stern look. They waddled in and he shut the door and followed them.“Aiden killed Amelia Rodney!” Darius announced with his arms wide.“Lynette went home after you didn't show up.” Colby told Aiden who was in front of him trailing away from what Darius said because he knew that it wasn't what he could do. “I will call her.” Aiden said as he pulled off his black polo dropping it on the couch before proceeding to the kitchen. “I ordered pizza.” Colby tried to brighten him up, giggling. “Go to bed, Colby. I need to be left alone.” Aiden hissed as he opened the fridge. Now, he believed it, he killed her. He followed him leaving Elijah and Darius in the living room.“Aiden, you don't have to worry about Lynette. I would do anything to protect her even if it would cost my life.” Aiden walked past him, dropping the pack of pizza on the counter.“You have to let me take care of my problems.” Aiden
Aiden looked up at the skies, the stars were gleaming, and the moon was glinting, setting the dark blue clouds in a distinct glow. He slid his hands into his pocket and looked at the earth before shaking his head and leaning on the rough barks of the tree he was standing next to. He understood that no matter how hard he tried to fall in love, he would never get there. He could never find love. His heart was gradually accepting the truth that he had lost Lynette forever. He knew that Hadrian and Marissa must have left and his brothers would be looking for Zachary who disappeared during the fight. Sighing, he recalled what happened eight years ago. Arcadia Falls. 17th July 2042Moving threads of her hair behind her ears, she sat in the park next to an old woman. Her mind was glued to her phone because she joined a social media group created by some of her friends in her school. She was 17 years old and she had a big dream of being fluent in different languages because she loved reading
Weeks and weeks passed by and there was no sign of Lynette. Colby was worried about his brother who he had stabbed with a steak and locked up in the dungeon after he revealed that he was going to leave Arcadia Falls. He also reminded Amaya about their first date and apologized that he forgot their date due to the problems they were dealing with. He fixed a new date during the weekend and it went blissfully, they enjoyed each other's company. Elijah had lost hope of finding his mother since Amelia was dead and Zachary was nowhere to be found. Marissa had recruited more hunters into the community and was training them every day. They were yet to schedule when to attack the Vadim and destroy him. Meanwhile, Vadim had been sending more of his minions to attack the O'Connor's with Esmeralda leading the horde of vampires. Beckham had warned Esmeralda to leave Arcadia Falls, but she was recalcitrant. He didn't know what else to do, but to save her life every time they came across one another.
Looking outside the window, Darius imagined what Aiden and Lynette would be doing now ‘trying to make babies.’ It was heartbreaking, but he knew that Lynette would find a way. He sniggered, folding his arms and seeping from the glass of red wine which he was holding. He would never stop caring about her even though she was married to his brother. He would always protect her and save her from danger no matter the cost. Hearing footsteps behind him, he turned and met Nina who looked at him hopefully. “You should be going home. It's almost eight o'clock.” “I just wanted to check up on you.” Nina uttered as she halted. “Um, I saw your father at the wedding.” “Colby sent the invitation cards to us after you invited me personally.” Nina huffed while Darius put the glass on the wooden desk, ambling toward her. He kissed her when they were close enough, he was doing this just to get rid of every sentiment he had for Lynette. Trying to fall in love. Striving to put his urges under control.
Colby was the best man and Amaya was the maid of honor. They had agreed on their separate roles and the wedding was about to commence. The color of the day was black, white, and gold. All men would be dressed in suits and women would be dressed in different types of golden gowns with specific designs. Darius was the priest and he just wished that things would turn around. He wished he was the one getting married to Lynette, but he couldn't. Even if he tried to ruin the wedding, he wouldn't escape the wrath of his mother and brothers, not after he had gotten rid of Aurelius. They wouldn't let him destroy Aiden's wedding. Aiden was struggling to put his tie in place when the door swung open, he turned and met Darius who waddled in. He wore the best happy face expression. It was just for some hours and he would go back to being a dejected and abhorrent vampire. “The guests have arrived,” Darius announced as he motioned toward him, helping him to put his tie in place. “You look amazing.”
Driving through the streets, Aiden swerved to the right, he was going to pick up his wedding suit from Arcadia's Mall. Elijah had his gaze fixed on the windshield, he enjoyed every minute that he spent with his mother and he also wished that Aurelius would appear with Diana someday. They had concluded with Darius that they wouldn't talk about Aurelius again and the Graysons should go ahead and get rid of him forever. As they stationed the car at the parking lot, Aiden and Elijah alighted from the car, striding into the mall. “I think you should wear a black tux.” “Hell yes. I'm going for a black tux. I love black.”“Not as Darius.” Elijah teased as they strode to the men's section after they had taken the elevator which led them to the third floor. “Should we compel the cashier?” Elijah suggested. “Dude. This is my wedding and everything should be genuine.” Aiden halted and looked at him. People were storming in and out of the shopping mall throwing glances and smiling at each other
Misery. Devastation. For the past two years, she had never set her eyes on her elder brother. Not once. Not twice. Not even in her hopeful imagination of having a better life. Living with an abusive father had ruined her life and kept her locked up in her room vulnerable and helpless. Weeping and attempting to put her emotions under control. She breathed heavily as she looked further. Hanging on her shoulder was her black backpack. She wished that she would arrive at Arcadia Falls peacefully and find his brother without stress. As she trudged through the woods, she heard twigs breaking and indistinct cackling. She looked backward and clenched her fists in fear. She hoped that she wouldn't be attacked by a lurker because the five towns knew about Vampires. Bloodthirsty creatures. She increased her pace looking backward as she ran past the trees that lined up in the woods. She bumped into a man and she gasped as she stepped backward. Quivering, she took off. As she ran she tripped and
Another day passed and Lynette didn't make it to work. It's a new day and Aiden made sure she dropped her off at Arcadia Falls library before heading home so he would deal with Adriel's issues. Colby and Tristan had headed to work while Elijah was still spending some time with Gwendolyn who was healing from Darius' wicked words. Darius was spending time with Liam in the wrestling room while Aiden was left to interrogate Landon who was exploring the mansion. “I wonder how we were friends in 1335.” Liam added ducking Darius' straight punch before moving behind him and kicking him on his back. “We just have to live with our mother's story until we get our memories back. I don't even believe her.” Darius declared as he wiped the beads of sweat on his face, clenching his fist and positioning himself for an attack. “I see you hate her, don't you?” “Well, yes. She abandoned us in the past. I'm not the type of person who easily forgives.” Darius maintained as he threw a punch and Liam used
Kissing her, he wrapped her arms around his waist as they stepped toward the bed. Their tongues collided expertly while their heads were filled with nothing but pleasure and unquenchable emotions. They crashed on the bed and it left a soft little squeak as Lynette unzipped her gown and threw off her shoes. He sat up and held her smooth thighs as she removed his jacket and loosened his tie. A moan escaped her lips when he clutched his hand on her thighs and they giggled. “I love you so much.” She could still smell his cologne and she enjoyed the scent that turned every part of her body on. He caressed her until his hands grasped the tip of her boobs and they both smiled. She straddled him and he pressed her tits and he moaned as she felt her erection. She was even becoming slicker and she enjoyed the way Aiden touched every part of her body. He placed his hand back on her waist and lifted her as they rolled over. She could feel his rock-hard DICK in between his trousers and she couldn'
Hanging the balloons on the walls, Colby looked at Tristan who was holding the ladder. They smiled at each other before Colby diverted his attention to the balloons he was fixing on the wall. It was his favorite brother's birthday and he was so delighted even though he hadn't figured out a gift that would suit him he knew that he would get things done before the end of the day. Lynette and Darius had gone to the bakery shop to get a cake while Aiden was stuck in his room, resting and taking in the story that their mother shared the previous night. Colby stepped down from the ladder while Tristan moved it to the basement. Elijah and Liam had moved the couches aside, creating a safe space for the dance floor and the party to take place. Colby rushed toward Aiden's room, knocking and stepping in after he got a solid response. Aiden was facing the wall with a ring in his hands, he looked at it and sighed before turning toward Colby. “Morning.” They told each other simultaneously. “Have y
Present Day“That night, he told me about the holy 12 and he fled when the witch came after him. I guess he died in her hands because I have never set my eyes on him.” Gwendolyn heaved a sigh as she stared at her sons. The clock was ticking. Time was moving. She was happy because they welcomed her graciously. “You just told us how our father became a vampire and how he was murdered by Cataleya Drew. How did we become vampires?” Elijah asked, waiting for the odd story. “I'm so glad because the six of you are here.” “Six?” Elijah wondered. “Yes. Except for Beckham who I haven't seen since I returned. Where did he go?” “He will be here soon. Just tell us how we became vampires.” Darius implied. “This is how you became vampires.” Gwendolyn relaxed in her seat as she braced herself to tell them the truth.15th September 1335Gwendolyn looked outside the window, heaving a sigh of regret. Right in front of her, her husband whom she thought had died years ago fled and never returned home
1st November 1305This was supposed to be a new year's gift to her husband. For the past nine months, she had been carrying a baby in her womb and she prayed that this child would be a boy. She didn't want to disappoint her husband because her first child was a girl. Gwendolyn and some of her maids were trudging toward the infirmary which was built behind the O'Connor mansion. Two women were beside her, holding onto her feeble hands and rubbing her back as she wailed in pain. She had been shrieking and muttering inaudibly since she was in labor, one of the women rushed toward the entrance opening the door and helping the other lady to take Gwendolyn and lie her on the bed. A tall muscular man wearing a black tunic and black trousers strode toward the infirmary which was the cottage at the O'Connor mansion. He stopped by the door and waited patiently to receive the good news that his wife had put to bed and she was alive. He didn't care about the sex, but he hoped it would be a boy. Gro
