CHAPTER 6

“A-hm, I just want to let you know that even though lolo Miguel wants us to get married, I am not agreeing to it. I’m not ready for marriage, and we don’t love each other... I don’t want to rush into anything.”

Reed was hurt by what the girl said; it was the first time a woman had rejected him. “I’m not going to force you for now. As I said, I will court you because that’s the promise I made to grandpa. If he wants me to marry you, I will do it... as long as it makes him happy."

Bullshit, Reed! You even used your grandfather to blackmail Clarissa. What a self-inflicted punishment.

Clarissa just lowered her head. Why did she feel sad thinking that Reed had feelings for her? It turns out he was just following his grandfather's orders.

They remained silent until they reached her house. She didn’t wait for Reed to open the door for her, she got out quickly and went inside. Reed sighed, started the car, and drove away.

It looks like it’s going to be difficult with Clarissa. He wasn’t used to courting women. Usually, it was the other way around. This was going to be exciting.. he smiled

Upon entering the house, Clarissa checked her cellphone. She had a lot of messages in their group chat.

Loren: Best, how are you? You haven't been in touch!

Patrick: Oh, maybe she's sore down there because she was divirginized! hahaha

Cyena: Damn! Who’s the lucky guy?

Patrick: Let’s call him... Mr. Good Samaritan! hahaha

Clarissa: Just up guys!

(Her friends sent LOL emojis.)

Clarissa: Let’s meet up, guys? Tomorrow afternoon. My treat...

Loren: Sure, so you can tell us how your pussy got wrecked!

Clarissa: You guys are annoying! Okay, see you all tomorrow!

Patrick: Bye, besties!

She went to her room and rested. Tomorrow, she would tell her friends about Don Miguel’s plan to marry her off to his only grandson, and unfortunately, that’s Mr. “Good Samaritan.” What a small world. She just shook her head at her fate.

At three in the afternoon, they met up at a mall, they meet in their favorate coffe shop. She arrived there first, followed by Loren and Cyena who came together and then Patrick who always comes late.

“What?!”  her frind were shock of her revelations.

“So you mean the Good Samaritan is Reed Villaruel? How come you don’t know him? Reed is famous here in San Sebastian!” Loren asked.

Her friends were also nurses but had only worked in San Sebastian. She was the only one who went to New York... thanks to Lolo Miguel’s help. They were envious of her, saying how lucky she was to have Lolo Miguel supporting her.

“I don’t know him! You know I’ve been in New York for 3 years.”

“That’s true,” Cyena agreed.

“You’re so lucky, Clarissa! The one who broke your pussy is Good Samaritan Reed Villaruel, and he’s going to be your husband? Go for it, girl!” Patrick replied, snapping his fingers.

Cyena lightly punched Patrick. His flamboyance had come out again, and it seemed he’d forgotten they were in a public place.

“You don’t understand. I’m not ready to get married yet!”

“But your pussy is ready, huh?”

“Shut up! I was drugged at that time. I wasn’t in my right mind!”

“Oh, look, Mr. Good Samaritan is here too…” Loren said quietly, pointing discreetly to avoid being noticed.

He was with a beautiful woman. Suddenly, Clarisa felt an inexplicable pang of jealousy.

Reed turned towards their table, and upon seeing her, he looked surprised. He stood up and walked over to them, with the woman he was with following behind.

"Hi Clarisa, I didn’t expect to see you here."

"Yes, and I didn’t expect to see you here either. Maybe you could introduce me to your girlfriend so I can tell Grandpa that his plans aren’t going to work!"

Reed’s expression hardened. "This is Diana. She’s not my girlfriend."

The woman’s face fell, clearly embarrassed. She immediately clung to Reed’s arm. "For now, not yet… soon!" Diana replied with an annoying laugh.

Reed just smiled slightly, not wanting to embarrass Diana further. He let her be.

Clarisa stood up and extended her hand to Diana. "Hi Diana, I’m Clarisa. By the way, these are my friends, Loren, Cyena, and Patrick."

Reed’s gaze lingered on Patrick, scrutinizing him closely to see if there was any connection between him and Clarisa. Patrick seemed quite affectionate towards her.

"Hi Ms. Good Samaritan!" Cyena said. Her friends laughed, and Clarisa gave her a sharp look, but she was ignored.

"Who’s Good Samaritan?" Reed asked.

"Ah, it’s nothing…" Cyena said with a grin.

"See you at the mansion, Clarisa," Reed said, and then he and Diana left.

*****************

Reed was frustrated, he hadn’t even started courting Clarisa and he was already losing points. Diana had come to his office.

“Hey, handsome.”

Diana had barged into his office immediately, followed by her secretary, who tried to stop her but couldn’t catch up. This only added to Reed’s irritation.

Diana had been a childhood friend, their families were close. They had no relationship, but she would come to him whenever she was horny. Diana had feelings for him and probably hoped he would notice her, so she made herself available to him. But now, that wasn’t possible, his body was now claimed.

Reed was sitting in his swivel chair. "What brings you here, Diana?"

"I want you," she said, her eyes sultry as she approached him and sat on his lap. She was only wearing a skirt. She unzipped his pants and quickly pulled out his manhood. Diana’s hand moved swiftly, making it easy to get it out. She aligned it with her intimate area.

Reed suddenly came to his senses and stood up. Diana fell off his lap.

"What the hell, Reed?" Diana seemed shocked by his reaction.

"I'm not in the mood," he explained.
