CHAPTER 47

REED:

Reed stood up and helped his wife get dressed, then embraced her until she fell asleep. She quickly dozed off due to exhaustion—after all, she had climaxed twice. He chuckled to himself.

He watched his wife as she slept. In that moment, he was overjoyed. Even though his wife still didn’t remember him, her heart had finally softened toward him. He couldn’t explain how happy he was—it felt as if he was drowning in joy.

He was thankful that she had accepted him again, even though she still didn’t remember their past. She had allowed him back into her heart. He promised himself he would never give her anything to worry about again. He would protect her and love her for the rest of his life.

She was about to give birth soon—in a week, they would become a family of three. He was excited. He closed his eyes, feeling sleepy too. He felt satisfied that night because of what he and Clarisa had shared. Not only was his heart happy, but so was his dick.
