MEETING ACE

New Chapter Alert!!!

After I passed out in the hospital, every other thing seemed to fade away aside Ace's voice. I was aware that I'm currently dreaming but at the same time, I couldn't pull myself out of my state of unconsciousness. I was in a dark room when suddenly I saw a light. I turned on my heels to inspect the source of light further. "Hello, is anyone there?" I called out in a soft voice into the dark. I was already in a hospital gown and I'm currently wondering how it looks so good on me like damn, I'm a pretty woman.

Then I heard a soft voice "Its you". The room went eerily quiet again. "Well yes it's me. I'm sure you cast some kind of spell on me that's why I'm here." Then I saw her emerge from the darkness.

"Annalise" She breathed. I looked at her "Hi, how'd you know my name? and who are you?" I asked. She smiled at me " I'm her" was all she said. 

Her??

Isn't that like a pronoun or something??

Just as I was about asking her what she meant, I heard a beeping sound and I found myself falling into a bottomless pit. When I finally opened my eyes, I was surrounded by white walls and a beeping sound. 

"You're awake!!!" Someone yelled. I turned to my left and saw a pretty girl with gold locks and deep green eyes. I searched my brain for a minute before finally concluding that I didn't know her and I've never seen her. I sat up and stared at her. "Who are you?" I asked with a pointed look. She laughed and came closer to my bed, she did a low bow thing before talking "I am Brianne, Daniel's ma--, Daniel's girlfriend" I looked at her again and decided I didn't even know any Daniel. "I don't even know your boyfriend" I said. The girl looked around for a while before her eyes lit up "We are close with the Al--, we are close friends with Ace" She said smiling.

Ace. It sounded familiar. Then I suddenly remembered the dude that never seemed to leave my mind. Ace. Then everything came rushing back to my memory. The fall, the hospital, Ace..

"I know Ace" I said smiling that she mentioned someone I knew.

She grinned from ear to ear "You're so pretty" 

It was weird and random but I smiled back at her "I like your eyes". Her smile grew wider "Thanks Lu--, Annalise" Brianne said maintaining her contagious grin. Just as I was about asking her if she knew the whereabout of Ace, the door burst open and a frantic looking Ace stormed through the door. "Annalise" Ace said underneath his breath. Seeing him made my heart flutter and I still do not understand why. "Ace" I squeaked. Immediately the sound left my mouth I slapped a palm over my mouth in shock of how terrible I sounded. Ace stared deep into my eyes before signalling to Brianne to leave the room. After Brianne left we were thrown into a pool of awkward silence. 

"How are you feeling?" Ace said breaking the silence. I looked round the room debating on how I really feel before answering "I am a little tired but aside that I am fine" I saw Ace's physical structure relax, he looked so tense. I adjusted myself of the bed and in the blink of an eyes, Ace was beside me. How did he do that, I yelled in my head. Ace helped me sit up before sitting beside me with a look of discomfort in his eyes. I noticed how is eye color flashed between black and gold once again I asked myself how he was able to do that. Once again, Ace did the honor of breaking the silence "If you're feeling well, maybe we could go home" 

I paused. What did Ace mean by HOME?

I took a minute before responding "Home?" Ace looked me dead in the eye "This isn't something I can explain. Hell, I don't even know where to begin but you are coming home with me and you aren't going anywhere" Ace declared leaving no room for arguments. I didn't plan on fighting back but my nerve cells understood what he said and none of it made sense "Can you hear yourself Ace? none of what you said made sense. I can't just drop everything and follow you. I have a life, I have my mother. This is literally kidnapping" I yelled a few notes higher. Ace's pupils hardened "You think I want any of this? I have done a background check on you while you were asleep, the only family member you have is your mother in America and your Uncle Alfonso here in Brazil. As for a job you do not have one so all you do is fly from one continent to another so don't tell me how insane this is because I am the one at huge loss here. I will contact your mother and you can either fly there or she'll come here to say your goodbyes. If you're ready I'll send you a nurse to get you out of this and one more thing, never ever raise your voice at me..I'll end you in an instant" Ace growled and stormed out of the room leaving me with the most confused expression. I really don't know what goes on in Brazil again.

Few minutes after Ace's outburst a nurse came in took me out of the hospital gown and dropped some clean clothes for me. I took a shower and headed out to meet Ace but saw Brianne and a cute looking dude. "Annalise" Brianne chirped, I made a mental note to ask her how she's always so excited. "Hello, Brianne and--" I said looking at the cute dude beside her. He stuck out his hand for a handshake "I'm Daniel. Brianne's boyfriend" I smiled and placed my palm in his and this instant, I felt like a midget because of how little my hands were in his palms. "Brianne already moved your things from the hotel to the castle" Daniel said motioning for Brianne and I to move. When we got outside, we walked to a red Tesla which looked very current but since I am not a car freak, I couldn't tell the specific model. I sucked in air in between my teeth, this dude must really be rich because this is such an ex pensive ride. We all got into the car and Daniel drove as the car remained silent aside Lil Durk bursting through the speakers.

After about forty minutes, Daniel parked in front of a masion no scratch that, he parked right in front of a castle. I was still in awe when Daniel spoke up "This is Ace's house where you both will be staying. He's not home at the moment but you should know your way around" After Daniel's short description, he drove away with Brianne leaving me standing in front of the castle. I looked to my left and felt my jaw drop, like literally. It was a car park containing over thirty cars if I could guess. The cars ranged from Tesla to Porsche to Rolls Royce to Benz to Lamborghini and many many many more. Are these guys kidnappers or worse mafia members with Ace at the top. Every car in the lot was a different shade of black which made it so beautiful. I took a deep breath and pushed the door to the castle open and was met with a huge hall way that just kept stretching on and on. The silence of the house scared living hell out of me so I tip toed through the hall way that led to other two hallways. I didn't even know what direction to go since a huge stircase layed in my presence but I do not think Ace would like if I went up there so I followed my instincts and went right. I followed the hallway down and passed by many rooms not willingto see what lies behind. One thing I notice again in Ace's castle is that everything, furniture and paintings is black, different shades of black and it was thrilling and beautiful at the same time. I went up the stairs and entered the seventh room to my left. I closed the huge mahogany door behind me and gasped. This room was huge and beautiful. The King sized beg laid in the centre of the room with black and white bed covers and black bed stand. Opposite the bed was a full wall sized television like the ones in the cinema, a walk in closet was at the right and the closet could as well have been someone's house. Then the bathroom took my breath away, I wondered if every room here was like this but not like I want to snoop around on Ace's property. I wondered how he lived here alone with no help. The window was a top to bottom window with black blinds, I opened the blinds and was met with the most beautiful view of my entire life, the ocean slapping the botton of a mountain. 

I paused for the millionth time today. A mountain?! I yelled in my mind. This castle is on a mountain just as I was about screaming my guts out I heard the wheels of a car screech through the gates. That must be Ace, I thought to myself as I raced down the stairs. I threw the door open happy to have some company in this monstrous castle. "Ace" I said smiling, he looked up from his phone and smiled back at me and before I knew what was happening, I threw myself on Ace. I guess I was really happy to see him then.

Ace's Pov

After a long day of helping a neighbouring pack deal with rouge attacks all I wanted to do was take a shower and sleep because I'm travelling again to America tomorrow. As I walked to the doorstep still on my phone, I heard someone throw the door open before hearing her call my name ever so softly with a smile on her face "Ace". She looked beautiful, with her ball of flames packed in a messy bun she looked innocent and naìve. My wolf wanted to pounce on her and mark her but I know how unaware she is of my kind. Plus, if she saw the demon in me, she'll be running for the hills. So I smiled back at her expecting her to move out of the way for me to come inside instead she did the most unexplainable thing, she threw herself against me and gave me a hug, tucking her head into my neck and smiled against my skin. "I'm so happy you're home Ace, I was so scared" She breathed against my neck. I held her for seconds before wrapping her legs around me walking into the castle, after shutting the door it did not look like Annalise was going to release me anytime soon so I took the grand stairs to my room. Took me few minutes to realise that Annalise fell asleep in my embrace, the thought of it makes my heart flutter, then I remembered she was a mere human unfit for Luna duties so the smiles was wipped out of my face. I placed her gently on my bed and headed out in search of the room she got lost in. After few minutes, I realised she stumbled into my other room, I took down the blinds and put off the light before walking out. I headed back to the room, took a quick shower and had a change of clothes. I walked over to Annalise who was still sleeping like a log of wood and checked her vitals turns out she's still alive, just a dead sleeper. I smiled and walked to my study with the aim of completing this week's paperwork fully aware of my beautiful mate laying in my bed.
