"Thanks," Jennifer replied as she continued walking. She made her way over to her bedroom. She got to her bedroom

door opened the door, and went in, she threw her purse on the bed and lay down on the bed.

She let out a sigh of tiredness. What a long day it has been. I haven't even told Scott about the things that have happened today, she thought.

She collected her phone from her purse.

"Jennifer! Dinner is ready!" Lindsey screamed from downstairs. She stood up and went downstairs to the dining room.

She sat down at the dining table as soon as she got there. Lindsey was busy serving food to Jennifer's plate and her plate.

After that, she sat down. Jenni fer dropped her phone on the table and carried the spoon and knife to the table and started eating. Lindsey also started eating.

Lindsey couldn't help but notice the sad look on Jennifer's face.

"How was work today?" Lindsey asked. staring at Jennifer.
