CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

Saturday morning passed in a blur for Grace, she was in the hospital with Penny for her regular check-up.

She spent her afternoon waitressing at a restaurant close to the house and then in the evening, Albert arrived at the flat to inform her that she was on duty that night too.

Grace knew it couldn't possibly be Enrique who had hired her again, so she wasn't surprised when Albert showed her the details of the client, a sixty year old politician who was throwing a lavish party and wanted a beautiful young woman by his side.

She dressed slowly, dreading spending time with the client. She had to remind herself that this was her job and she didn't need to like it, she just had to endure it for a little while longer.
