CHAPTER SIXTY

Grace got up slowly from bed, when she heard the doorbell ring. Throughout the past three weeks, she had been at an all time low.

Enrique had been flying all from city to city on business trips. Having worked as his assistant for a while, Grace was aware that he didn't really have to personally attend to all those business meetings.

He probably wanted every reason to be away from his dishonest and lying wife. Since they arrived at the airport, three weeks ago, Grace hadn't set her eyes on Enrique again.

He had taken every necessary measure to avoid seeing her. They had driven in separate cars from the airport. Even on the few late nights when he stopped by the house, he used one of the guestrooms and made sure to leave very early the following morning.

Grace had only found out about his presence through the household staff and felt too ashamed to even enquire about how her husband was doing from them.
