CARNELIAN'S POV

When Taylor asked me if I've contacted my mate , my brain ceased for a while. How can I forget telling my mate about not being able to come to school today for some reason. She has the right to know what is happening at the pack but I know that she will want to come, so I can't risk telling her about the reason , but I should just have informed her beforehand about my absence.
