Sleeping for almost an hour,Adriena woke up but was not fully awake

" How long have I been sleeping? " she murmured while her eyes were still closed

" Almost an hour now," Carnelian replied

"Ohhhh,why didn't you just lay me on the bed?" she said

" If I do that,I doubt that you might not even sleep up to a minute, " Carnelian said

" That's a lie. I've been sleeping on the bed my entire life,what could probably have changed, "she said

" I didn't dispute the fact that you have been sleeping on the bed since you were born. I'm talking about now," he said, and when he didn't receive any reply,he listened to her heartbeats, and they were steady and constant, indicating that she is asleep again and he smiled at her

Well then,since you said that I could have laid you down,I'm going to do that now, " Carnelian thought

As he wants to lay her down on the bed,Adriena does not let him as she holds on to him as if he will be gone for a long time
