CHAPTER 12 Ryan woke up the next day tired as always. In his bed he could see the sun rays penetrating his room through the open curtains. He stretched for a minute, stood up and entered the washroom. He came out a few minutes later with a towel in his hand. CHAPTER 13Ryan finished dressing up in formal wear.A white long sleeved shirt and a pair of black trousers with a black shoe.He looked at himself in the mirror and smiled .He picked up his phone and looked at the time, it was half past twelve.He held his phone and went downstairs.The living room was deserted. Alicia's phone was on the couch in the living room. Ryan thought she must have left in anger.He shook his head and headed out.Getting out of the compound he noticed that Geraldine's car was not parked at its usual spot.He just ignored it and went his way shaking his head.The moment he stepped out of the compound, he saw the cab driver approaching him.He signaled him to pull over and the cab driver parked right beside him .Ryan entered the car and the driver greeted him politely and asked him if his destination.“ ROCHEAT restaurant ”. CHAPTER 14Madam Roselyn smiled back“ So tell me, how were you able to know so much about this car? You know it's a new model and was released just a few weeks ago..Only a mechanic specialized in such cars can repair it. How come you were able to repair so quickly with ease? CHAPTER 15“ Are you okay with it? ” Madam Roselyn repeated her question. Ryan came to his senses.“Yes, yes, madam. I would be very glad and grateful ” Ryan replied happily“Alright then, you resume next week Monday ” She said as she pulled over in front of the hospital.“ Thank you very much, madam. I'm very grateful. I won't disappoint you. ” Ryan said joyously. Madam Roselyn nodded and smiled.“ Thank you for the lunch ma'am ” Ryan said and waved her goodbye.“ You are welcome ” Madam Roselyn said as she waved back. Ryan got down from the car , closed the door, and waved again at Madam Roselyn.Madam Roselyn waved back and drove off.Ryan entered the hospital with a big smile on his face.He was overjoyed that he was going to get a job. At least he would not have to depend on the Williams family. So he thought. CHAPTER 16Ryan unconsciously fell asleep on the bed in his smile. He was woken up a few minutes later by the sound of the doorbell. He woke up, picked up his phone, and glanced at the time. It had been 23 minutes since he had slept .He guessed the doorbell might have been that of the delivery man who was supposed to deliver the food for the Williams sisters.“ They will go get him. ” He said as he laid back on the bed. He took his phone again and realized he still had an unread message.He opened it, and it was a credit alert of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to his old account.The creditor was ROSELYN CHUKS, and it had an additional message ‘ Thank you for helping me with my car the other day’Ryan jerked up and sat up on the bed.He glanced at the phone screen in shock." whoah, I ain't dreaming right." CHAPTER 17Ryan sat on the bed with a smile on his face.He laid his back on the bed and heaved a sigh.His mind wandered in dreamland, thinking about the job he was soon going to acquire.As he lay there thinking, his phone beeped, and the doorbell rang at the same time.He took his phone and viewed the message, it was from the delivery man " I've arrived sir".Ryan wore his sandals and went out of his room.He jogged down the stairs as he hurried out.Getting to the living room, he saw that the Williams sisters were not in the living room. Instead, the leftover food in their packs were left on the center table in the living room.He shook his head and left the living room and out of the compound.The delivery man was ready at the gate with the pack of food in his hand. CHAPTER 18Ryan took the drugs from the nurse, forcing a smile on his face." Alright, sir, that is all. Her belongings are all in that bag there, so you can go now," the nurse said, pointing at the bag.Ryan nodded and picked up the bag.Mrs Williams stood up from the bed.She waved goodbye to the nurse with a smile The nurse waved back and smiled." CHAPTER 19Reuben shrugged and went to the kitchen.He sat off to prepare lunch for himself, Geraldine, and Mrs Williams. In about an hour, he was done with the food.He dished out some of the food Onto a plate and served it on a serving tray.He left the kitchen and carried the tray to Mrs Williams' side of the mansion.He knocked on her door."
