Andy wiped the sweat from his brow and took a deep breath. The operation had been a long and difficult one, but it was finally over after spending almost half of a day in the operating theatre.

He removed his gloves and nose mask and dumped it in the recycling bin near the door. As usual, a nurse helped him removed his gown, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. As he left the operating room, the fluorescent lights seemed harsh and blinding after the dim operating theatre.

As he made his way through the hospital corridors, Andy turned to his assistant who was on his trail. "Well, that was quite a marathon," He said, his voice slightly hoarse from hours of speaking. "But we did it. The patient should be in good hands now."

His assistant nodded, a look of exhaustion on her face. "It was tough, but we pulled through." She replied him. "I just hope the patient makes a full recovery and it doesn't take much time."

Andy agreed. "It's out of our hands now, but we did everything we can to

Her aura was the type that no one wouldn't dare deny not to have notice —and her presence screamed authority as well.Lisa's clicking heels came to a halt in an abruptly manner as though she was snapped out of her reverie due to the voice that came up suddenly behind her without any notice."Ma'am..." "So who's your first target amongst them? That depraved creep or those revolting geezers?" the man asked, inching closer to the desk where Lisa was sitting behind."Who do you think deserves a taste of their own medicine first?" Lisa's voice was calm but her eyes were cold, like a frozen lake in winter which caused a sly smile across the man's face."Uh... That pervert, no?" He asked in a drawling tone, as though he's letting out a suggestion since he's unsure of her thoughts."You think that creepy jerk deserves being served first?" She asked. It was a rhetorical question and she expected no answer in return. "It's those old men of course. There's always enough time to teach that pervert a lesson he deserves —if not more.""Yeah, I know, right?" The man nodded almost immediately. "He look like a man who is in need of a special attention —be it in good cause or the other way round.""You get it. But first, I need few but important update on Alex's life in the past five years." Judas approached the kindergarten school with a sense of trepidation. He had promised to pick up the twins for their mother, but he was unsure how they would react to seeing him again. After all, it had been months since he had last visited them, and he had left without a word. He knows the kids too well, they might give him a little distance as a payback for what he has done —or maybe not. He spotted the twins waiting for him outside the school gate, and his heart skipped a beat. Xenia was jumping up and down, her dark curls bouncing with each movement. Klaus stood beside her, his small hands buried in his pockets. As Judas approached the twins, he noticed that Klaus was staring at him with an unreadable expression. It was hard to tell what the boy was thinking, but his blue eyes were fixed on Judas, as though he's monitoring his every move.Meanwhile, Xenia ran towards him, her arms outstretched. "Uncle Judas!" She exclaimed with a wide smile on her face. "You came to see us! We've

"Xavier...?" Neil did not hide the surprise in his voice the moment he sighted his eldest brother. Aside his impromptu visit, the look on his face wasn't something to shrug off easily. "Did you have a fight with Fred? Just now that he left to answer the door? What's the argument."Xavier did not say anything since he was in no mood to reply anyone, his anger and frustration has not yet subside —and this has made him to be cautious to avoid an unforgettable experience with his brothers.Neil watched his brother for a moment, taking in his hunched shoulders and clenched jaw. Something was definitely wrong, but he didn't want to push Xavier if he didn't want to talk. He knew from experience that pushing only made things worse."I'll go get you something to drink." Neil said finally, turning towards the kitchen. "Do you want tea or coffee?"Xavier shrugged, not looking at him. Neil sighed and headed into the kitchen, leaving his brother alone in the living room. He could only hope that Xa

Judas pulled his car into the parking lot of Lisa's company, and he turned to look at his children in the back seat. Klaus sat quietly, looking out the window with a serious expression on his face. Xenia, on the other hand, was vibrating with excitement. She could hardly sit still, and she kept asking questions about what they were going to see."We're here!" Judas said, turning off the car. "Are you ready to see Mommy's place of work?""Yes!" Xenia squealed, unbuckling her seat belt and waited for Judas to unlock the car's door. "Let's go!" Xenia said, practically leaping out of the car as soon as its door was opened and running to the front door of the building.Judas and Klaus followed more slowly, with Judas reaching out to take Klaus's hand and give it a reassuring squeeze. "I know what I'm saying is true, Lisa." Andy insisted, seeing the doubt in Lisa's eyes. "Since you left for Los Angeles and made me the acting chairman, my father has been pressuring me to take over the company." Andy went as far as explaining every little detail to Lisa not leaving one out of it. He went as far as telling her how Xavier left home since he refuse to dance to his tunes and even him going to apologize to his father thinking maybe he had change. Lisa was dumbfounded after listening to all what Andy had said, even though she had expected those cunning men not to back away easily. The one she mostly find hard to believe was Xavier cutting ties with his son over his petty greed but since it's coming out from Andy's mouth, she has no other choice than to believe it. "— I shouldn't be saying this, but I can't let them hurt you. I've watched you grown up and I see how kind and considerate you've been..." Andy muttered slowly in conclusion.
