Shannon’s POV

A quiet calm had settled in the house after the recent events. Ricky and Cole, sent away by their father for some reflection time, had retreated to an apartment Robin had since secured for the brothers. Jules was on the fast track to recovery.

As I sat in the living room, contemplating the everything that had led us to this very moment, a knock at the door shattered the my thoughts. Opening it, I was surprised to see Leila standing there.

“Hi, Shannon.” Leila uttered, offering a polite smile.

“Hey, Leila,” I replied, still shocked.

The air quickly thickened with tension, and for a moment, I considered slamming the door shut in her face. But I had a desperate need for a friend that moment, and against my instincts, I let her in.

We found ourselves in my bedroom, where we usually sent time talking and laughing. Those times felt so distant in my mind and I couldn’t help but miss it.

Leila, her eyes scanning around like she was in the room only for the first time, broke the

The quiet hum of a hidden agenda echoed within me, my secret alliance with Selena fueling a mission that was beyond my fake apologies. The memories of the meeting with Selena played like movie reel in my mind as I waited in Shannon’s room. I had sought Selena out in the school courtyard. She raised an eyebrow as I approached, curiosity and caution in her eyes.“Selena,” I called out, trying to catch her attention.Selena looked up, her expression guarded. “What do you want, Leila?”A sly smile curved my lips. “I have an offer, Selena. One that might interest you.”She arched an eyebrow, intrigued yet cautious. “Go on.” She said.I leaned in, my voice a whisper. “Shannon has hurt both of us, hasn’t she? It’s time we stop being victims and take revenge.”Selena’s eyes narrowed, skepticism evident. “What do you propose?”I quickly outlined the plan to her, and the idea of forming an alliance agains

The absence of Ricky and Cole left a void in the house, but it allowed Jules and me a chance to connect without the complications of our relationship. Taking care of him became my focus, serving him meals, bringing coffee, and tending to his needs. One evening in Jules’ room, I set a tray with his favorite dish on his bedside table. The aroma of home-cooked food filled the room, and Jules looked up with a grateful smile.“Thanks, Shannon. You really didn’t have to go through all this trouble,” he said, his eyes reflecting genuine appreciation.I shrugged, a playful smile on my lips. “Consider it payback for that time you took a knife for me.”“Well, alright. If you say so.” He shrugged as well.As we sat side by side on his soft mattress, the sound of our laughter and chatter filled the room. The atmosphere shifted, a sense of ease settling between us without the watchful eyes of his brothers.Jules, no longer the wounded alpha in need of care, felt more like a friend – a connection I

Shannon’s POVThe sound of my knuckles knocking against the wooden door was the only sound heard in the unusually quiet hallway. It was strange; the lack of good natured bicker on the kitchen table, or the absence of ridiculous dance moves in the living room. How long was this going to last for?“Come in.” I finally heard Jules call from inside, permitting me to enter his room.Though he had tried his hardest to convince me that he was alright. Yes, his wound had already patched itself up. I could only thank the goddess for his alpha genes that allowed him to rejuvenate any wounded place on his body almost instantly. However the fact still remained that the stab had been deep. I initially feared that there was no way he could be able to perform any task properly, talk less of walk, but he’s show how strong he is in the past days that we enjoyed and had only to ourselves.I steadied the tray containing his breakfast this morning in one hand, as I opened the door with the other, careful

Jules’ POVThe air in the house had become dull, the absence of Ricky and Cole cast a shadow of boredom on me. I missed my brothers every single day that passed with them still exiled. It was a burden I couldn’t bear any longer. My brothers needed to return, and I was determined to make that happen.I sought out Dad in his study. He sat at his desk, a stern expression on his face. “Jules, I’ve told you before, Ricky and Cole need more time before they can come back.”I couldn’t contain the frustration bubbling within me. “Dad, they’ve paid their dues. It’s time to let them come home.”Robin sighed, his gaze fixed on some distant point. “I just don’t think they’re ready yet.”The anger in me erupted, and I couldn’t hold back. “Enough, Dad! They’re my brothers. They deserve to be here. If you don’t let them come back, I’ll leave too.”The words hung in the air, a threat that I hoped would move him into action. But Dad, ever the stern alpha, remained unmoved. Before the situation could e

The screen flickered to life, revealing the events of the previous night. As I fast-forwarded to a significant moment, a sweet satisfaction settled within me. There on the screen, sometime around midnight, Shannon was having steamy sex with the triplets, all three brothers at once. The scene unfolded before my eyes, Jules came in first, they didn’t say much, and after kissing Shannon for some seconds, Ricky walked into the room too. For a minute, it seemed as if the brothers were shocked at each other’s presence there in Shannon’s room, but eventually, they carried on, starting a threesome.A few minutes later, Cole also walked in, and

The weight of Robin’s words hanging, the one-week ultimatum echoing in my mind.I sank onto my bed, a whirlwind of thoughts overwhelming me. Why would Selena go to such lengths to blackmail Robin with a video of the intimate moments I shared with the triplets? I asked myself. The unsettling realization gnawed at me, and panic gripped my chest. Unable to bear the anger, I decided to search for any hidden cameras in my room.I recalled a TV program’s tip on detecting cameras in a room – turning off the lights and using the phone camera. Desperation pushed me on as I switched off the room light and fumbled to open my phone camera.Carefully scanning the darkened room, I saw nothing from my phone camera. Wondering whether the tip really worked or not, I was on the brink of giving up when a red light suddenly caught my attention through the camera.Following its trace, I discovered a tiny video c

Shannon, five years later. As the sun streamed through the windows, filling the room with warmth, I found myself chasing after our energetic twins, boy and girl, who are barely five years old. Laughter echoed through the house as they raced around the living room.“Slow down, you two!” I called out, trying in vain to keep up with their energy. But Jules walking in just chuckled from the doorway, his eyes shining with amusement. “Let them play, my love,” he said, his voice filled with affection. “They’re just having fun.”I sighed, knowing he was right. As much as I wanted to keep them safe, I couldn’t deny them the simple joy of being young and carefree. With a resigned smile, I watched as they continued their game of chase and catch, their laughs filling the air with screams.Just then, I felt Jules’ arms wrap around my once again pregnant belly from behind, his embrace warm and comforting. I leaned back into his arms, relishing the feel of his strong arms around me. “How are you and

You’re letting your imagination run wild.”I shook my head, frustration bubbling inside me. “But Jules, I just need you to listen. I know something’s not right.”He looked at me with a mix of sympathy and exasperation. “Shannon, I understand you’re scared after everything that’s happened. He is trying to pot against you and why won’t you believe me?” I inquired with a very stern countenance plastered on my face.“Oh please Shannon can you please just stop all of this drama? Why are you bothering yourself over something that you shouldn’t? I don’t know what is feeding you with lies but you know better than to believe everything you hear.” Jules snapped at me, walking back to his desk, and sunk into it without giving me any more regard.I knew he wasn’t going to believe me from the start but why? I’ve been on Mathew’s trial forever and it’s enough for me to know that he is planning on hurting Jules. But why won’t Jules listen? Why is he so certain that Mathew can’t do anything to him? Shannon’s POVI stormed into the castle, my heart pounding in my chest. The situation with Matthew had left me unsettled, and I know I had to find a way to make Jules listen to my warnings about him.As I entered the main hall, my eyes immediately fell on Michael, playing innocently with a toy on the floor. Beside him stood Matthew, the man I found so suspicious. My instincts screamed at me to grab Michael and run, but I forced myself to stay calm. I hurried over to my son, scooping him up into my arms protectively. Michael grinned up at me, holding out the toy he had been playing with.I turned to face Matthew, my expression hard and suspicious. “What are you doing here?” I demanded, my voice laced with tension.Matthew blinked in surprise, taken aback by my abruptness. “I came to see Jules,” he replied, gesturing vaguely. “One of the maids told me to wait here, and I saw Michael, so I thought I’d keep him company.”My grip on Michael tightened, my protective instincts in overdrive.

Shannon’s POV.The next day Jules and I moved into the pack house. It was still so surreal to me that I was an Alpha.Jules was almost completely healed now and he kept talking about how it was all because of his training yesterday. I mentioned to him that it was probably because of the training he’s still not properly healed yet but he just laughed in my face.As soon as we arrived in the pack house, we were welcomed by the slaves. They were all lined up in the living room in a straight line dressed in black and whiteThey had to be at least fifty to a hundred of them. What on earth did we need so many slaves for?I wondered as I scanned their faces.I glanced over at Jukes who seemed a little too confident. I wish I had his confidence. It seemed like he was used to it, unlike me.“These are the palace slaves, they are always at your service, They all have been assigned different stations. You have not yet healed up.” She said, her sweet voice wrapping around me like a blanket.“You’ve been released?” it was supposed to be an observation but it came out as a question. I was so happy to see her, I couldn’t believe I had won. At some point, I had completely blacked out but if she was here with me then I had won.“Thanks to you. I’m so sorry for what you had to go through for my sake.* She said, hugging me.I winced at the pain and she quickly let go of me as if I were some fragile glass.“No,” I protested at the absence of her warmth.
