Nica I'mfelt like her whole body froze in her seat when she heard the name of Janice's cousin. He was very persistent that she bluntly told him she did not like him. She was nearly raped by him the time that she went to a night party and she had no idea he was watching and following her. She could not believe she thought he was different from her stepmother and half-sister.

"He's my cousin," Janice explained to Chris even though he did not ask. "And Nica's ex."

Chris noticed Nica grit her teeth and glare at Janice.

"Don't just tell other people about my life, will you?" Nica put on a fake smile. If only they were not in a public place, she could have pulled her hair even if they are in front of her 'boyfriend'.
