I woke up to a blurry sight, the harsh fluorescent lights of the hospital room casting everything into a hazy blur. The pungent smell of antiseptic hung heavy in the air, mingling with the scent of sickness and fear. The incessant beeping sound of machines filled the room.

As I tried to make sense of my surroundings, I saw distorted figures moving around frantically, their faces a blurry and the only thing I noticed was the frown lines on their faces. I blinked, trying to clear my sight with my hand, but the pain that hit me made me cry out in agony.
