The next morning, it was raining heavily. 7 a.m. looked like 3 a.m., and it was cold, super cold. Ana pulled her blanket tighter around herself, reluctant to leave the warmth of her bed. She could hear the rain pounding against the window, and the faint sound from the downstairs.

She turned to see her door slightly ajar, no wonder she could hear sounds from downstairs, because she was pretty sure one won't be able to hear anything with how loud and heavy the rain was.

Gathering her little strength, she threw off the covers and sat up, glaring into space, wondering why she even bothered waking up.
