TYLER POV "You son of a bitch." I say and Angelo stops dead in his tracks. His eyes going wide when he realized that he had just been found out. "It's not what you think." Angelo says. "Tessa will never stay here. Is that why you made that witch force that power on to her? So she had no right but to stay here and buy you more time?" I asked. "No. She needed to tap into her witchy powers. It would have taken too long if she did it on her own and she really does need to face that shadow witch." Angelo explains. "Why do those bastards want Tessa? Why do they need her? And what curse are they talking about?" I demanded answers. "You saw how small they are. They're tiny wolves. "The next morning I didn't wake up until late and with a bit of a hangover but Gladys was there yelling at me from downstairs to get my ass down there. "Just because you got drunk doesn't mean you're getting out of training." She yelled. "Can I kill her?" I asked rolling over on to my back. "Not until she's taught you everything. And then I'm going to kill her." Tyler says. "Okay. That works for me too." I say. I roll out of bed and land on my hands and knees and Tyler laughed leaning over the bed. "Are you okay?" He asked. "I think I'm going to die." I say crawling to the wardrobe before using the shelves to help me up and I got some clothes on and I brushed my hair. " How the hell can you just crawl out of bed and have that perfect messy look work for your hair?" I asked. "Because I'm a guy with a great head of hair. It works for me." I wake up coughing from the explosion and I push some debris off of me and I sit up covered in dust and there is rubble everywhere and people. I start scurrying around from person to person to make sure that their alright. I hear a lot of whooping and cheering outside and I see that it's the vampires. They're the ones that attacked us with Mitchell leading the attack. I got to everyone and they were relatively unharmed, which was hard to believe but they got up and saw the vampires coming for us. So the vampires got their faces on ready to fight and the wolves shifted to wolf form. There were a lot of us and we were a lot bigger than they were used to. Tyler stood in front of me. It was still painful for me to shift and they were waiting for their time. 'Stay here. Don't shift.' Tyler tells me in the mind link. 'But they're here because of me. I have to help.' I reply. TESSA POV I slowly wake to the sun beaming in my bedroom and the sudden pain in my head has me hissing and grabbing at it like it is about to explode. I look around the room and everything is blurry at first before my sight comes into focus. I notice that I am naked under the blankets and the events of the day before start flashing through my mind. The battle with the vampires. My wolf. The fire. Everything. And I jolt up quickly in bed before I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look over and Tyler was sitting up next to me holding my arm. I must have woken him up when I jolted awake. And I threw myself at him and hugged him. "What did I do last night?" I asked. "You saved us. And it wasn't last night. It was two night ago." He says. "What?" I asked. "You've been unconscious for two nights. And a full day yesterday." He says. "Who did I hurt?" I asked. "Only them. You didn't hurt any of us. I promise. You saved our lives." The next morning was a little tense around the mansion. Angelo and his siblings stayed awake and we stayed inside with them all until we were ready to leave. They were worried for us. Well, for me at least. I know that they don't really care about wolves. But I was their blood. So I knew that they were worried for me. Hardly any of them would leave my side for very long at a time but I have to say, it was nice to actually have family that cared about me. It was a really weird feeling. Tyler and the others stayed back while I was in the living room with Angelo, Elias, Charles, Finn, Naomi and Ruby. We were getting to know each other a whole lot better and trying to lighten the mood a bit and we were actually all mostly paying out on Angelo. They looked like they still resented him for what he did, but at the end of the day, they showed up when he needed them. So I guess there isn't as much animosity as they want everyone to believe. And he wasn't taking anything they said to heart.

We didn't get home until after sundown and we were covered in soot and dirt and blood and my arm was aching like hell from where that vampire bit me. And when we walked back into the courtyard of the mansion I was rubbing my right shoulder just thinking about the pain that I was in. Tyler walked over to me and pushed my hand away roughly because he could feel the pain getting worse and he stared at it for a moment. "What does it mean when a werewolf gets bitten by a vampire?" Tyler asked. "They usually turn into a vampire." Ethan answers. And Tyler looked at me with wide eyes. "I'm already half vampire." I say. "What happens when a werewolf/vampire hybrid gets bitten by a vampire?" Tyler asked. "Nothing. It just hurts like a bitch for a few hours." Angelo says coming out of the house. "There you go.
