45. BECAUSE I LOVE YOU

ALPHA DRACO’S POV

I didn’t know I still had a space for her in my heart until I heard she was dying. The thought of me not being able to see her anymore pricked my heart and made it an unbearable pain. How could she die just like that? How am I supposed to carry on? The hatred that surges inside of me whenever I see her is the only reason why I am still living.

I would have died long ago.

If she’s dying, then there will be no one to channel my hate on anymore and that would be a time-stopping moment in my life. However, I was not sure if I was acting out of hatred and confusion when I saw her frail body in front of me.

She was almost lifeless, all her energy and strength had disappeared.

I tried calling her name but nothing came out, it had been years since I called her by her name. It was too heavy and difficult to say.

“He…le ..Helena” I finally was able to call out her name after so much effort and she slowly opened her eyes to look at me even though they were still slightly b
