13. LET'S GET MARRIED

HELENA’S POV

I marched to the reception room where the elder of the fourth tribe was waiting for me. I was prepared to give her the maximum problem if she comes with the mindset that half of the problems they have with me has been solved since they are done with the preparation for the separation ritual.

Immediately I opened the door to the room, she stood up and bowed her head with her hands placed under her abdomen in respect which amazed me because that was the way of showing respect to the royals. I was not expecting any respect from the elders since they are all so bent on making my life a living hell before even impeaching me.

“You are welcome, my Queen” she greeted, her head bowed to the lowest to show the grey hair split apart at the center of her head.

Even though the greeting was uncomfortable, I was still entitled to it so I didn’t feel burdened that much for a long time. I returned her greetings and went to my seat so we could discuss the details of the rituals.
