Sleepless nights

Dylan’s Pov

Another successful sleepless night for me. I lay in my bed with no zeal to stand up.

I have been cooked up in the four walls of my room for days and I know everyone is worried.

They come in here every day trying to get me to talk to them and to remind me that they will always be here for me.

I know they will be here for me. They have been there for me and they will always be here for me. I knew that. I just didn’t have the strength anymore.

I was exhausted. Every day without leads on finding Amara my energy was being tapped.

If I wasn’t a werewolf, an alpha for that matter, I would have lost my sanity by now.

Amara is my life. My mate. I have never felt for any other woman what I feel for her.

She is all that matters to me.

My only thought was how much I wanted to find her, to hold her in my arms, and kiss her passionately while whispering sweet words into her ear.

She has been gone so long that it’s like she was never even real. But I know she is.
