Destined

Amara's Pov

It has probably been a week or two since I have been trapped inside this horrible place.

My mind drifted back to all the horrible things Kaden had done to me.

He resorted to torture when I wouldn't agree to be with him.

I got a daily dose of torture, which almost led to my death, and I was already loosing hope of ever reuniting with the members of the shadow moon pack. Maybe, I was just meant to suffer.

I recounted the events that have shaped my life since I was born.

Every time I was happy, something was always there to steal it from me.

“Dear moon Goddess, is this your plan for me?” I asked out loud “Is this my fate? To die by the hands of the man who killed my parents and took my pack away from me?” I asked again and of course there was no reply.

There was nothing I could do about anything now, so I sat back against one of the walls, closed my eyes and tried to focus on the memories.
