I stood on the rock at the barrier as I stared at the pack.

It’s a day to the mating ceremony and everyone is quite busy with activities to make sure the ceremony is a success.

It will not be the first or last time they attend for some of us, but the ritual is always important because of how much significance it holds.

The ceremony is also a way of making sure the mate they have chosen for themselves is as compatible as possible.

The ceremony begins in the middle of the night when the moons rise high enough in the sky to cast some light over the land.

It is also the only time when the two mates can find each other and bond over their new relationship.

This is a very rare occurrence so no one wants to miss out on that moment, especially those who are yet to find their mates. No one wants to lose a chance for something special like that.
