I saw Nurse Rose reach out for my tensed arm, and when I turned to her, she gave me a reassuring smile.
"It's going to be fine… do you need privacy?"
I smiled back.
"Yes.. I really would. Thank you so much Nurse Rose."
She smiled again before leaving. She was such a nice person that I wondered why Joseph would just hang up on her like that. I believe that something wrong went on somewhere.
After taking, deep breath, I hold the door and push it open, and when I walk in, I see Amara sitting there, staring around the ward like it was her first time here, and I just didn't know what to do at that moment when her eyes met mine.
For a full second we just stood there and stared at each other without a word, only the soft breeze from the AC sounds noisily in the room.
