Chapter 4. Threatened Mr. Jason

"Jess...!"

Mr. Jason got up from his seat. The older man was troubled to hear his daughter's words.

"If you can't compete with D. R. Corporation shortly, you must get married! Agree or not, Daddy and Mommy don't care."

Mr. Jason and Mrs. Alice angrily left the CEO's office after threatening their only daughter.

"Married, married, and married! That's the issue. What's so special about us getting married? Wouldn't that add to my burden?"

Jessica massaged her forehead while leaning her body on the cream-colored sofa.

"Will, after marriage, will I get the superpower to defeat D. R. Corporation?"

After the boss's parents left the CEO's room, Leon entered the room and stood in front of the lady.

"Can I help you, Miss?"

Jessi sat up straight and said, "Make me coffee as usual!"

"Okay, Miss."

The CEO's bodyguard immediately made the boss's favorite exceptional coffee with his concoction. He would not allow anyone else to make drinks for the woman he looked after day and night.

Leon is not only a bodyguard who will always protect Jessica, but he is already like a friend and a brother to Jessi, who continually warns her to be careful in her actions.

With Leon by her side, Jessi felt safe and protected. Even the man always does the work that the lady orders, although sometimes it is different from the duty of a bodyguard.

"Here's the coffee, Miss." Leon put the black coffee in front of the lady and then took two steps back. The man was standing right next to Jessi.

"Thank you," Jessi said before taking the coffee cup.

"You're welcome, Miss."

After trying the coffee made by her bodyguard, Jessi became addicted to drinking the tall man's brewed coffee.

No one would have thought that the man had malicious intentions towards Jessica and her company because Leon seemed sincere and always loyal to the CEO of the Beauty Corporation.

The sexy woman turned to the bodyguard, who was standing beside her. "Leon, have you ever been married?"

"Not yet, Miss," Leon replied. "Why does Miss ask me that?"

"My parents told me to immediately marry Alan so I can work with him to defeat the D. R Corporation." Jessi spun around in her chair until she was face to face with the bodyguard. "What do you think?"

"I'm sorry, Miss, getting married is not a game. I noticed Mr. Alan is different from a man who deserves to accompany a woman as intelligent as Miss. He only relies on the influence of his parents, unlike Miss Jessi, who worked hard on her own to build the Beauty Corporation."

"I know that, but my parents keep urging me to marry Alan immediately because only his company is superior enough to compete with the D. R Corporation."

"Miss's company can only compete with big companies like D. R Corporation with help. I'm sure Miss can do that."

"But if I can't match that company, they'll set me up with a man of their choice."

"Follow your heart, Miss!"

The sexy woman got up from her seat. "Find out where the new CEO of D. R Corporation is. I heard the news that the successor to the Karl family is already in this country."

"Okay, Miss."

Jessica is back at work and has a lot of homework to do soon. She should be able to compete with the D. R. Corporation.

The woman seemed busy with her work. While the bodyguard was still standing tall beside the woman, looking at her with a gaze that was difficult to interpret.

Until nightfall, she just finished her work. The golden brown-haired woman leaned against the back of the chair while calling her lover.

"Jimmy, can you come over tonight to my house?"

"Of course, honey. I will always be there for you anytime."

"Okay. I'll be waiting at home in an hour."

After calling her lover, Jessi got up and grabbed the bag on the table. "Leon, let's go home!"

"Okay, Miss."

The head of the famous company went home quickly because she had already had an appointment with one of her lovers.

The bright red luxury car stopped in front of a magnificent house that could not be seen from the street because tall trees surrounded it.

"Leon, make me some coffee in half an hour, then deliver it to my room! I'm going to take a bath first."

"Okay, Miss."

The sexy woman bathed to relax her tense muscles from a long workday.

When she exited the bathroom, her loyal bodyguard stood by the painting before the bed.

"Leon, what are you doing?"
