“If I don’t mark you, you will die, your choice.” He spat out with me frozen in place. I closed my eyes to open them, thinking I was suddenly able to dream but it was not a dream, it was real.
“This is a mess,” I spoke.
“Tell me about it.” Beta Brum answered with me walking, turning, and falling in step with him, my mind deep in thought.
“How do we stop the king from killing himself. Why don’t you have the curse?” I questioned.
“My father had it but it was not passed onto me since I was not directly liked to the ruling line.” He answered with me nodding my head at him.
“I am hoping that, by the time the war ends, something would have happened between you too.” The beta said with me scoffing.
