*BRIANNE’S POV*

“That is bad news,” Mary said.

I rolled my eyes at her. “That’s the whole point, of course, it’s bad news,” I said perplexed.

Mary chuckled. “Your life is full of unexpected surprises, Bri. You have to admit, it’s never boring” Mary added, her voice laced with sarcasm.

I groaned. “They are driving me nuts, Mary. Just because my brother now has his wolf, my father suddenly decided it would be better for me to train at the pack house?” I complained

Mary tried to offer a reassuring smile. “Your father might just be trying to push you to your full potential” she tried to reason with me.

“Full potential?” I repeated, my voice rising. “You know as well as I do that people training at the pack house all have their wolves already. They are not struggling like I am” I said, devastated.

“This whole thing is weird” Mary’s voice became low. “Do you think he told your father to make you train at the pack house?” Mary’s question sounded more like she was talking to herself.
