The walk to the infirmary was quiet, but my thoughts were anything but that. I replayed the scene in my head, trying to make sense of everything. Why had Amelia done that? What have I ever done to her? And Jordyn…why did he always seem to come to my rescue, even when his loyalty was supposed to lie elsewhere?
