She wanted to push away those thoughts of her and try to convince herself that she was only being ridiculous. She couldn't have feelings for him. He was the Alpha and she was basically the hero. Not to mention the very clear fact that he had made to her that he wanted nothing to do with her. She was never going to fit into the dynamic that he had set across and yet here she was. It was as though there was something that had shifted between the two of them.
