CHAPTER 35

Xavier could feel his heart beating frantically against his chest. He didn't know what to do. On one hand here was the girl who seemed to always be doing everything in her power to rile him up. And he had tried his best to stay away from her but each time he did, it seemed as though there was a part of him that was tugging at his heart forcing him back towards her.

He hated that he had little to no control of his emotions when it came to her. He let out a sigh from his lips as he looked down at her body. She had managed to settle down. And to think that only moments later he had been seconds away from ending this game of cat and mouse that was playing between them.

He lifted up her body quickly, ignoring the way that her body seemed to fit perfectly in his arms as he made his way over to the couch in the room. He smiled at her softly before losing her body down gingerly on air.
