Xavier was a mess as he closed the door shut and he ran a hand through his hair. He didn't know what had come over him and he knew that the moment that he had marked her something had shifted between the two of them.

The minute he had held her in his arms it was as though all the knots in his brain had been untied and he could see Nora for the first time.
