Since the day we got back from the hospital Hope has been acting different from normal, she's been acting like there's something bothering her but she's still not ready to talk about it.

For two days she has not been around the house like she would usually do.

“Oh my goodness.” I mumbled as I sat on the couch tiredly. I can't believe the board is agreeing to step me down from the position as the company director.

“How did the meeting go?” Yolanda asked curiously.

“Not the way I want, but I'm still hopeful it'll end in my favor, I really can't believe those old men want to kick me out after everything dad did for them.” I said to my mother angrily while removing my tie. My mom looked disappointed to hear what I said.

I know that this is happening because of the deal I failed to secure, now they think I'm a loser.
