Alpha Daniel pov

“Mom!” I screamed at the top of my voice when I couldn’t find the papers I left on the center table a few minutes ago.

“When will you learn that I’m your mother and stop yelling my name like I’m your child!” My mother yelled back angrily. I was not interested in hearing what she has to say, what matters to me right now is my file.

“Mom, you were here with me a few minutes ago when I left those papers here, did you take them?” I asked her calmly while staring at her face to see her reaction.

Yolanda did not react like she took the papers with her which got me a little scared.

“I didn’t take anything Daniel.” She replied to me reluctantly and walked away. I stood there like a statue looking confused, how did the paper go missing, or did I drop it somewhere else? I placed my hand on my head frustrated as I looked around the house.
