- "Yes. We always fought, even during firefights" Susan said, smiling at the men.

- "This must have been a historic time"

- "And it was" Spencer agreed.

The inspector returned to his chair, and Susan sat down next to Colton. She observed the material on the table and found that it was a case being analyzed. His expert eye knew a scene when he saw one.

- "What are you doing, Spencer?"

- "Working on a new investigation" he replied, looking back at the report.

- "Not so new" Colton added.

- "Working alone?" Susan insisted, leaning back in the almost comfortable chair.

- "It's the Banks case" he simply said. There was no need to say more, not after so many failed investigations.

- "Do you have new clues?"

- "Actually, I'm working with a new agent"

- "New?"

The police officer furrowed her eyebrows. In all his years working alongside Spencer, he had never seen him recruit new people to help him. He was too self-centered to ask for help, and he didn't mind getting bogged down in his work.
