CHAPTER 6

Dean sat down. "You have to go now, she will be waiting for you. You have to pick a perfect outfit for the engagement."

At the mention of Adrian going to find her, she hurried away from the door and stood five miles away from it. After a few minutes, Adrian stepped out of the door and his gaze shifted to her. Luna peered at him, he had tried to stand up for her and at least show some support. She wondered if he was out doing it because he needed a Luna by his side.

"Luna, you came?" He asked as he approached her.

She shifted uncomfortably at his intense gaze. However she managed to maintain a straight face as he got to her. Before she could respond, he pulled her by the hand and pulled her towards the other side of the packhouse. Luna surveyed the environment as he pulled her. She recognized the place, it was the direction to his room.

Phoebe had taken her there but they only stared at the door and left. She claimed her brother never let anyone inside his room with him. Soon he was opened the door and got inside the room with her.

"I thought you never let anyone inside your room." She turned her head to look at him.

"Did Phoebe tell you that?" Adrian inquired.

"Yes, she brought me here the other day and we only stared at the door before leaving." She answered.

"Well I am showing you my room since you will be so curious." He pushed the door of his room open. "What do you think my room look like?"

"All black and white, wolves head hanging around." She raised a brow at him. "A picture of a creepy wolf."

Adrian glanced at her with a surprise look on his face. "None of the above, I can't believe you thought that was what my room looked like."

"You hid it from everyone, it should be like that judging from the one I saw on months back." She clarified.

"Since you spoke about the creepy wolf picture you saw. It was made by our fore fathers and it refused to be removed. I don't like it to and if you don't, I am going to remove it."

Um, okay."

He turned on the light of his bedroom and Luna's eyes surveyed the room. It wasn't all black and white like she had thought. It was all red and gray, she didn't get the guess right. There was a painting on his wall and she walked closer to it to get better look.

She placed her hand on the picture and glanced at it, her eyes widened when she saw it was a picture of her. She had cat eyes and there was a tail sticking out. Her mouth were open and she saw fangs in her teeth. Yeah fangs, she had almost forgotten she had one. If not for the fact that she had been a vegetarian, she could have drank from all those wicked mice that made her miserable in the dungeon.

"This is me?" She questioned, even though the picture looked exactly like her. Although she had no cat ears and tail.

She spun around to look at Adrian, he was right behind her. He stroked her hair with a smile on his face.

"You little Mooncat, you remind me of a cat."

Luna rolled her eyes, this was the second time someone had mentioned that she was a cat. First was Ashford and now Adrian, did she really look like a cat?

"Mooncat? Is that a new nickname for me?"

He shrugged. "Yes."

She moved away from him before she could fall for his smile. He was only using her, they were only using her for the benefits that they would get from her. She was not going to let herself fall for their tricks, since they were using her. She had to use them to and she just needed to get engaged to Adrian.

"Let's get going to pick a dress for the engagement." She grabbed his head. "I am starving, Phoebe didn't let me have anything before bringing me here."

"The thing about Phoebe." Adrian said. "My mother…" He trailed off not wanting to tell Luna about it because it might hurt her.

"It was true, right?" Luna asked. "She was asked to stay away from me."

Adrian nodded his head just like Luna had guessed. "My mother asked her to stay away from you."

Luna teeth clenched. 'That ungrateful…" she stopped herself before she could say more.

She had a way to get the queen angry, she was going to get closer to Phoebe herself and Adrian at the same time. She had not really spoken to Adrian's Mother and perhaps she was going to pay a visit to the woman.

"Let's go." She told Adrian.

She had mentioned that she was hungry but the only thing he picked was Phoebe. She frowned, what an ideal mate she had. Atleast she had one that took care of her and she liked him better.

"Ashford wanted to have dinner with me tonight, we have to get the engagement things as fast as we can." She lied.

At the mention of Ashford, Adrian's hand clenched. "I thought he said he was leaving after this is all over, why is he still here and about their pack. We still didn't see anyone there."

Luna lips curled into a grin, Adrian still thought Ashford was a Werewolf. The alpha of the Venomiya's pack. Venomiya pack was a pack that the members couldn't be since and they don't interact with other people.

"He came back after I was released from the dungeon." She replied. "He wanted to see how I was doing."

"Have he been there with you since you were released?"

Luna shook her head in negativity.

"Mooncat, you should say away from your ex. You are getting engaged to me." Adrian ordered.

Luna's grin widened, since she had lied to Adrian that Ashford was her ex lover and the mate bond ruined their relationship. Adrian had always thought Ashford was here to get her back. He was her mate too, she couldn't stay away from him and besides she met Ashford first.

"I can't stay away from him, since your Mother said Phoebe should stay away from me. Ashford is the only friend I have and…"

"Fine." Adrian grumbled. "I'm curious, did Ashford know about you being a Hybrid when you met?"
