"There is a cross on this door." Jeff called, and the rest rushed over to him.
"Why won't it open?" Wei groaned. Banging in the door. "Hello!! Anybody!! Please open the door. We need a place to stay."
Am I wrong? Salvador thought to himself.
"Mathew 7.7" He read out loud.
"Mathew chapter 7, verse 7." Luna breathed out heavily. "Let me do it."
The other's gave way as she took two steps back, then again took two step forward.
"May we come in?" She placed three soft knocks on the door, then turned the handle.
"It worked." Wei griped in astonishment.
"Quickly. Go in." Salvador ushered everyone in. Closing the door behind them.
His eyes scanned the small room they were in.

Luna's hold on the chair weakened until her arms dropped to the ground like jelly. Salvador knocked out form dripping next to her. The chair tumbling upside by his unconscious action, she saw something odd before her vision finally dulled out. Something was scribbled under the chair. ____________________________________ When the group woke up it was the same as before. They were in front of the village. The only difference was that the pain was two times worst than the day before. And they laid awake for more that ten minutes before they were finally able to move. "So we go in again?" Wei glanced at the village sign, shuddering at the thought. Going through the first night was one thing. But going through two consecutive nights of dying in a fire was a little less than traumatic.

Luna's heart dipped when her eyes caught the mark on the door.Just one.Their last chance.They all sat down, all in their head. And when the night came they were more than prepared."Ladies first." Luna didn't wait to hear the second knock before she burst through the door.Eyes frantically scanning the fire that had almost taken all over the house."Jeff." The small group huddled together when night came. The boys on the outside while Luna was squashed in the middle.The closeness offering both the warmth and closeness she needed at the moment.Her heart skipping two beats when her ears caught the first howl. Sandra made sure they were gone for sure before quietly climbing down the tree.Her form turned stiff when her ears caught a rasped breath.
