I sat in my office, Ivar's worried eyes locked on mine, his face etched with concern.

"Aria's.... recovery, will she be okay?" he asked, as his voice trembling, cracked and stuttered under the weight of his emotions.

I took a deep breath, as I tired to choose my words carefully not to worsen what was already worse.

"Ivar, I promise you, Aria will survive, she is a strong child." I responded, with so much assurance, trying to sound confident.

But Ivar's face etched in anguish, his eyes welling up with tears. I could barely detect his next words.

"You know something, don't you?" he accused, his voice laced with desperation.

"Ivar, Aria's illness was severe and everyone in the pack feared for her survival. " I explained, keeping my tone gentle.

"But now she's revived and is healing," I reassured, trying to offer a glimmer of hope. " That's what matters to us all. "
