ALPHA

I stood outside my office, gazing out at the forest. The memory of the rogue attack still lingered, fueling my anger. I paced my steps returning back to work.

I settled into my leather chair, running my hands through my hair. The weight of the pack's safety rested on my shoulders as thoughts of the sickness spread across, killing a high number of members played through. Sylvia has cured few, but more is needed.

I scanned the papers on my desk, reviewing the latest patrol reports. The rogues had been quiet for too long, I knew they'd strike again soon.

My gaze drifted to the window, watching the sun rise over the forest. The pack's lands were vast, but I knew every inch.

I stood, pacing around the room in my reckless thoughts. The silence that enveloped my office was a welcome respite from the constant demands of being an Alpha.

I stopped in front of a framed photo as I looked at my late parents, the previous Alphas. Their strength and wisdom guided me.

I took a deep breath as I

" I responded."Our warriors must remain vigilant and adaptable." I added as I faced the window watching my warriors from a distance. "I'll ensure th

As an admirer of nature's beauty, I never seized to miss the rise of the sun nor it's set, yet in my pleasure my heart remained cold. The pack's silence enveloped the entire atmosphere. No laughter, no chatter everywhere felt empty.Only the weight of Aria's fragile existence and my control. The Alpha's desperation still lingered. His hope, was now tied to my mercy."
