With a smooth motion, Aiden turned to the guard who had handed him the knife earlier.

"Here," Aiden said, extending the blade back toward the guard.

He was done with the tool now, best return it to the owner.

The guard took the knife, giving Aiden a small, respectful nod. "Thank you. I trust it served its purpose, Alpha," the guard uttered, his tone carrying a hint of satisfaction and admiration.

Aiden smiled, although his smile was thin as his eyes flickered back to Dave, who remained limp on the guard's shoulder.

The bloodied man was now just a rag doll, hardly able to register what was happening around him, let alone resist what awaited him.

Aiden was indeed pleased with the knife, but this was not over. Not yet.

Aiden turned back and faced the massive iron door right in front of him, the air around them feeling thick. He stepped forward, gesturing toward the second guard with a flick of his fingers.

The second guard immediately approached the large door, his hand settling on the cold iron handle. He gripped it tightly as he pushed against the stiff door.

Aiden watched with a casual, almost amused expression as the guard struggled for a moment, then spoke in a voice tinged with sarcasm, "It has been a while since we have used this room...no wonder it won't budge."

"I will get it to open, Alpha," the guard reassured, yanking harder on the handle.

"I'm sure you will," Aiden responded. "You would think they would oil these hinges at least once in a while." He continued, still with the same sarcasm tinged in his tone.

Finally, the guard was able to open the door, the rusty hinges emitting a loud screech as the door moved with a slow, laborious crawl. Dust, as expected, fell from the frame, the smell of aged and cold stone, thick in the air.

The guard, feeling proud of himself, took a few more steps back, awaiting Aiden's next move.

Aiden, glad that the guard did not waste any more of his time, strode into the room first, the guard with Dave on his shoulder following him, before the second guard also followed them in.

"Welcome to the Forge," Aiden said as he turned his head slightly, speaking over his shoulder to Dave. "We call this The Forge Dungeon. It might be surprising having a dungeon inside a dungeon, but do not worry, you will find it... quite accommodating."

As they walked deeper into the Forge Dungeon, Aiden took in its atmosphere, nodding with satisfaction. The forge had not been used for quite some time, and the dust and rust made it clear. The scarps of iron and burned fragments of wood also showed it.

The floor was scattered with remnants of last use. Still, it was a fitting place for what was about to happen.

There was no need for torches in this room, as the room was built in a way that light from outside could come in. Aiden could almost hear the faint echo of the screams that once filled this room, although some of those screams never lasted long before they were silenced.

Taking in the full scope of the forge, it had a fire pit so large and centrally located. Its stone borders cracked from years of use. And above the fire pit, chains hung down from the ceiling, holding a massive iron cauldron in place.

The cauldron was dark with soot and creaked slightly as it swayed in place, just waiting to be put to use again.

Aiden, taking all this in, paused in the center of the room, his eyes scanning the familiar surroundings. It was one of the best buildings in the pack.

"This," he gestured grandly as he looked at the cauldron and then turned back to Dave, "is where the real fun begins."

Aiden stepped closer to the fire pit, inspecting it as he moved around the pit. Although the fire pit was cold now, it was still impressive.

"Set him down there." Aiden looked at the guard who still had Dave on his shoulder and ordered, motioning to a spot.

The guard stepped forward and moved to place Dave down at the center of the room as Aiden had instructed, a spot that was not too close to the fire pit.

Dave grimaced in pain and moved a little as the guard dropped him down, and the moment the guard's hands left Dave, Aiden commanded, "Prepare the fire."

The two guards nodded and began moving toward a small chamber built into the dungeon. It was a section which was clearly meant for storing supplies.

Along one side of the chamber, they found what they were looking for—a stack of neatly arranged firewood, and a pile of dried kindling nearby.

The stack of firewood was well-stored, and after inspecting it, the guards confirmed it was in good condition and would burn well.

Done inspecting the stack of firewood, one guard grabbed several pieces, testing their sturdiness before stacking an armful. Then the other guard grabbed several pieces of dried kindling.

"This should do," the first guard muttered, hefting the load and turning toward the exit with the other guard.

They set to work quickly, arranging the firewood beneath the cauldron suspended by iron chains.

"I will go get a torch from the wall outside," one of the guards informed the other. "You prepare the wood."

"Sure," the other responded with a nod and did what was necessary.

Minutes later, the other guard was back with the torch. He crouched low, angling the flame toward the dried kindling until it caught.

The fire came to life slowly, crackling softly at first before roaring. Shadows danced on the dungeon walls, and before they knew it, the heat intensified, heating up the iron cauldron.

"All done, Alpha," one of the guards reported to Aiden as he and his fellow guard took a step back, wiping the sweat forming on their brows.

"Good job boys," Aiden commended them as he watched the fire grow and heat up the cauldron more.

Once satisfied with the flames and with how well the cauldron was now heated, he walked to the fire pit with the gold statue he had clutched in his hand throughout.

He stepped up to the cauldron and threw the golden statue into it, where it fell with a sharp clang.

The cauldron was very hot, but Aiden was unfazed. He went on to unhook the chain and hold the cauldron by the handle, lifting it with both hands, as he watched the hot metal sizzle and begin to melt.

Slowly, the solid gold turned into a bubbling liquid, its surface rippling with intense heat.

Aiden carefully rotated the cauldron, his hand steady as the molten gold heated up even further. He rotated the cauldron some more, making it tilt and making the liquid gold inside swirl.

Once the gold had reached the desired temperature he wanted it to be in, he ordered his guards to get Dave on his knees.

"Get him on his knees," Aiden ordered.

The guards moved quickly to Dave, who was barely conscious from the pain he had been through. They grabbed him roughly, not caring for his well being, and forced him onto his knees, holding him in place, his body weak from all the blood loss.

"It is done, Alpha!" One of the guards informed Aiden.

On hearing that, Aiden carried the cauldron and walked slowly toward Dave. As he reached Dave, he did not waste any more time, as he already felt like he was wasting too much time. He immediately lifted the cauldron and tilted it, allowing the molten gold to pour out, sizzling as it hit the air before landing on Dave.

Dave, who had noticed that Aiden was not up to no good, could not even scream, as his eyes widened in shock before the molten gold stroked his head.

When the molten gold poured on Dave's head, it sizzled as it made contact with his flesh. His body trembled, his vision blurred as his mind could barely process the unbearable heat and pain he was feeling.

His skin started to bubble and melt, and his hair singed and scorched in an instant. His mouth opened, but no sounds came out, only the horrible crackling of his flesh as it burned and hardened.

Aiden, who was done pouring the molten gold on Dave's head, stood there with the cauldron still in his hand, watching as the gold hardened and suffocated the life from Dave's body.

With the gold now hardened on Dave's head, Dave's body lost all tension. His limbs went limp, and the guards, who were holding him up, let him go and stepped back.

With nothing holding him up anymore, Dave's limp form fell to the cold stone floor, his head making a clink sound as it hit the floor.

The gold's weight had caused Dave's head to thud against the cold floor, making that sickening clink sound. There was a brief silence before Aiden finally looked away from Dave's lifeless form as he now looked at the cauldron, which he still held. He tightened his grip on it and then turned and walked back to the fire pit, keeping the cauldron back at its rightful place."Get rid of the body," Aiden ordered the guards as he walked to the forge dungeon's door. "You do not need to hide it. I want people to see it. I want them to know what happens when they try to be foolish," he said to the guards and left the place, not waiting for a response. He knew they would do as they were told.Aiden walked out of the forge dungeon and was almost out of the main dungeon. With every step he took, the sound of his boots echoed off the stone floor, and he could still hear that faint sound of water dripping.A

She was wide awake, and her eyes had this mischievous glint in them that sent a rush of heat straight through him.A soft, knowing smile played on her lips, the kind that was mixed with innocence and wickedness equally. Her head, which was once on his head, was now casually resting against the pillow, but the way she looked at him was anything but casual.Kira's smile deepened, her lips curling just slightly at the corners. It gave her an almost predatory expression, which was precisely how she was feeling. It was that look that made his mind go blank and his chest tighten. She just kept making him feel a lot of things and act in a way that no one has ever made him feel or act."What… what are you doing, love?" Bryan finally asked, his voice low and husky.Kira's smile did not waver. If anything, it grew more playful as she tilted her head slightly, as if considering how to

He was more than willing to follow her lead, even though the urge to touch her burned through him like a wildfire.Bryan's breath hitched sharply as Kira smirked and started moving her hips, grinding against his c*ck slowly and deliberately. As she moved harder yet slower, he clenched his fists at his sides, feeling every move and every press of her heat. "Kira," he rasped, his voice low, strained and filled with need. The tension building in his body was just almost unbearable, and so he lifted his hands slightly, desperate to hold her, but she caught the movement immediately

A low chuckle rumbled from Bryan's chest, his shoulders shaking slightly as he reached the bathroom. "This woman…" he muttered to himself, shaking his head with a smirk. "Easy to compliment, huh? I'll show her who's easy," he murmured under his breath, grabbing a clean towel. In the bathroom, he found a small towel as expected, wet it with warm water, and then wrung it out before taking a moment to clean himself. Once he was done, he leaned over the sink, the warm water running over his hands as he rinsed the towel thoroughly.Satisfied, Bryan wrung out the towel one last time and turned off the tap, glancing at himself briefly in the mirror."That will do," he muttered to himself before heading back to the room where Kira waited. As Bryan stepped back into the room, his powerful stride brought him closer to Kira, who could not help but stare. Her eyes roamed over his bare, muscular frame, lingering on the hard ridges of his abs and the broad, powerful curve of his shoulders. Bryan had just stepped into the bathroom when Kira's loud voice echoed through the room. He paused, gripping the edge of the sink, her voice loud and teasing as he let out a deep chuckle. "Oh, you're asking for it now," he muttered under his breath, a plan forming in his head as amusement danced in his black eyes. After rinsing the towel and keeping it properly, he rinsed his hands quickly; his mind already set. Kira didn't know what she had just started, but he was going to show her, and he will definitely not let her go away with it. "I did warn her," he thought, turning to leave the bathroom.Meanwhile, Kira was relaxed so elegantly on the bed—maybe not much elegance with how disheveled she looked, but she looked disheveled in a good way. She had adjusted her position on the bed, still clutching the pillow to her chest, but this time, her head was titled as she stared up at the ceiling."He's probably rolling his eyes right now and laughing," she whispered to herself, giggling af

Bryan sighed after their laughs had subsided, looking around the room for his clothes. Plus, when do you ever want me gone?"Ignoring Aiden's question, Bryan shook his head, chuckling softly as he pulled his boxers off the floor. He and Kira's clothes were scattered around, and thinking about it made him smile widely as he slipped into his boxers before grabbing his trousers and shirt to start dressing.Aiden, who was still half-in and half-out of the room, finally stepped inside, shutting the door, although he remained near it. He crossed his arms, leaning lazily against the door, as he quietly watched Kira and Bryan.Meanwhile, Kira had dropped the pillow she was holding onto earlier and had now wrapped herself in the sheets. As instructed, they all remained seated and waited patiently for her. No one said anything, and surprisingly, the silence wasn't empty. It didn't have any tension; it was comfortable, but still had the feel of emotions that weren't spoken. Along with that, Kira sat still, maybe not too still as she kept tapping her feet on the ground and her fingers lightly on her knee while glancing around and often stealing glances at Bryan and Aiden, who would also look at her from time to time and wink, even though they were all seated on one couch. And then, footsteps. It was soft but firm, quick yet steady in approach.Elara walked back into the room holding books and pens. "How can you be happy? This is very sad news. Extremely sad, and even I, myself, am still trying to wrap my head around the whole situation. So, how?""Mum, I understand you completely," Kira said. "I also cried, then we cuddled and then at dinner everyone was together again. Even my emotions right now are inconsistent because I don't know if I should cry, be sad, be happy or think about it, as we have been given a specific time to be together and so cuddling with them, talking and laughing at dinner helped me realize that it was better to be happy and just forget about the sad stuff for the moment. Leaving you all is already sad for me; you have no idea. But staying… even if it is my last day here

Dinner was great as always—the laughing, the conversation, the playful banter, everything. It was no surprise that manners were forgotten at the dining table, hence the talking while eating, and now everyone was relaxed and chatting as they were all done eating."Dad, Aiden and Bryan are just… they just won't stop messing with me," Kira complained to Orion, gesturing to Aiden and Bryan, who were grinning at first but immediately kept their faces serious when she complained about them."What now?" Orion asked Kira after looking over at his twins. "What are they doing this time?""Nothing," Bryan answered before Kira could. "We are literally not doing anything to her except keeping her on her toes. She can't even stay still on those toes, you know. We are simply just having fun, father.""Exactly," Aiden said and nodded in agreement. "We are not doing anything to her.""Seriously?" Kira asked them, although she hid her smile and feigned annoyance, just so Orion could side with her."So

Leaning into Bryan, Kira took slow, uneven breaths, trying to calm herself. She knew it wasn't their fault for making such a decision, but it didn't help with how she felt inside. She was sad, exhausted and emotionally drained. She knew they would do anything for her, yet those words, "We can't ask you to wait for us," lingered, and it pained her so much. It pained her that there was nothing much she could do but leave. Staying might destroy them even more than leaving. And Kira knew that. She let out a shaky breath as Bryan rubbed her back and whispered sweet, soft words to her, her weight pressing into him as she could no longer really hold herself up. "It's okay," Bryan murmured, his chin resting lightly on the top of her head while he continued rubbing her back in slow, comforting circles. "We are here. After some minutes of inhaling and exhaling, he tightened and relaxed his fists, before he felt a hand on his shoulder.Bryan didn't need to check when he felt the hand on his shoulder; he just prepared himself, knowing what was coming, and he knew that whatever was coming was going to be for the best."You know what we have to do."
