Chapter six

"Damn!! Who was that?"

Matthew asked as Dominco approached their car,where he had been standing watching the whole scenario with a huge grin on his face.

"Forget about her"

Dominco replied harshly as he got into the car not paying much attention to Matthew who kept on talking.

"Hell no! feisty and sexy,who would forget about her, Damn! you guys know each other?"

Matthew asked as he sat down and ushered the driver to start the car, turning to Dominco who wore his anger all over his face,he asked again trying to rile him up,when he didn't get an answer the first time.

"You sure you guys don't know each other because I definitely wanna go back for that ass?"

Dominco who was angry and at the same time feeling possessive started releasing his pheromones as he turned to answer Matthew and going alpha mode, His eyes turning red and his pheromones coming out stronger than before he said in a really calm but strong voice.

"SHES MINE!"

"Woah call down alpha,I was just asking because you came back looking angry and it got me wondering,that's all!"

Matthew said in surprise because this was the first time Dominco was getting possessive of something.He owned things but never did he show possessiveness of them.

'interesting' he thought to himself with a smile on his face,he was going to taunt Dominco with this news.

'But damn he needed to get his emotions and pheromones under control' Matthew thought before turning to face the other side of the car to avoid inhaling too much of his pheromones.

Dominco knew by now that he needed to get his pheromones under control in order for it to not fill up the car,and he knew Matthew was already thinking about what just happened and trying to put two and two together.

He was shocked when that statement of possession came out of his mouth.He's never one to do such 'talk without thinking' and he saw her for not more than 30 minutes and he was already spewing nonsense.

Running his hands through his hair he said to Matthew

"If this gets out! especially to Ava,I'd kill you!!"

Sounding threatening, Matthew just laughed but didn't say a word.

There was silence in the car for a while until Matthew broke it by asking Dominco

"She an omega?"

"Why are you asking me? Dominco asked sounding a bit hard

"Nothing really just wanted to know if she was the one that got away"

Matthew replied raising his hands and using his fingers to make the quotation sign

"No! And what's with the fingers?"

Dominco asked, Matthew on answering ignored his question, bringing one hand to stroke his beards he 'hmmm ed' then letting the car go back to being silent again.

Nora getting home from the grocery store with Carl following closely behind as they climbed the stairs that led to their flat one after the other.getting to their door her phone began ringing, dropping the bags that were with her,she picked it up opening the door for Carl to enter.wondering who was at the other end of the phone because the number was unknown she answered hesitantly

"Hello?"

"Hiiii Nora!I missed you!"

"Uh sorry who is this?"

Nora said closing the door and heading towards her space,she placed the plastic bag on the floor waiting for the screaming lady to answer

"Sorry I forgot you didn't have this number,it's Maureen, remember me?"

'Maureen' Nora repeated the name in her mind trying to remember where she had where she had heard that name after a while of nothing coming up she replied,

"Sorry I don't recall"

"I figured because that wasn't what you called me then,it's me Mae, Shaw's cousin..we used to hang out at the bar during closing hours when you worked there!"

"Oh my Mae?..how,I don't understand it's been So long,how have you been?"

Nora was excited to hear from her,it's been five years since they last saw each other because she moved and they lost contact with each other.Mae was her only friend and she loved her,she was pretty and bashful,she was also an Omega but she was dominant and short too.

Taking off her shoes she sat on her bed getting comfortable talking to her.

"Well I've been fine Shaw tells me you left New York!where are you?"

Mae asked putting her excitement aside, Nora answered quickly

"New Jersey,needed to take a break form NY"

"Shaw told me you ran off and didn't say bye,are you okay?"

"Yeah,I didn't intend to run off but.." staring up at Carl who was scribbling on a piece of paper she smiled as she continued

"I got pregnant and didn't want to have my baby in New York!"

"I understand,and I'm sorry I didn't even keep in touch with you when I left,there's so much we need to talk about,your kid,your kids daddy!..wait is he hot,I know you are a sucker for hot males so he better be hot! Wait don't tell me it was a one night thing..dirty girl"

Mae just kept talking and asking tons of questions that Nora didn't even know how to answer them.

"Let's just talk when we get to meet" Nora replied getting tired of all the questions

"Sure! That would be great,I'd come by let's say next weekend! Would that be good?"Mae asked,

"Uhh I'd let you know,I might be busy so you might have to come over to where I work"

Nora said as an excuse she didn't want Mae to know where she lived and how bad her condition was.

"Okay then,this is my number, save it and we'd talk more later..I gotta go bye".

"Bye"

Nora replied almost sadly as she disconnected the call.

Thinking back to this afternoon,she remembered she had received money from the sexy stranger. The money could obviously get her an apartment, something like what she shared with Brenda.buy clothes for Carl and new shoes.

She felt a little weight being lifted from her shoulders as she kept thinking about all the things she could do with the money.but she said to herself

'Baby first, house later'.as she got up to make a sandwich for herself.

"Honey,you want a sandwich?"

She asked Carl when she remembered that he had only had ice cream since she got him from school.

"Yeah,are you going to put those cookies we bought today?"

Carl asked her curiously looking up at Nora who laughed at what he just said

"No honey, nobody puts cookies in a sandwich"

"But I want mine there, please" Carl begged as he gave the puppy eye that Nora couldn't refuse.

"Alright,one cookie!"

She told him .

"Okay"he replied, smiling widely.
