ATTITUDE

His phone rang interrupting him from what he was doing with his laptop.

"Guy what's up?" He said through the phone with his eyes still fixed on his laptop.

"Are the girls ready?" He asked.

"Hope they are still intact, I want to be there first, I don't mind paying double" he said with an evil grin playing across his face.

He looked up at the sound of an intruder as his sister Jamaima walked in, he smiled at her while still focused on his call.

"I will be expecting them this evening, trust me I will pay them heavily" he said as Jamaima smirked attracting him to stare at her direction.

He ended the call without saying a word to Jamaima who has been staring weirdly at him all through the call.

"So who are the innocent girls this time?" She finally asked as Richard stared expressionlessly at her.

"Big bro don't you think this is the height of it? Honestly I don't like the way you do treat girls as if they are just for sex, remember I'm also a woman, how will you feel if some other guy treat me same way?" Jamaima asked as Richard focussed on his laptop not saying a word to her.

An incoming call interrupted Richard as he fumbled with his phone.

"Are the product safe?" He asked through the phone.

"Alright, I will be there in ten minutes time" he said as he hung up.

He stood up and walked briskly to the door but stopped on a second thought.

"Lock the door when leaving, I have a business to attend to" he said before hastily leaving the room.

"Such arrogant jerk, I wonder what all the girls sees in him" Jamaima muttered before standing to leave the room.

He drove into the compound which seemed almost bushy, the guys who were offloading the goods bowed at the sight of him.

Taking a drag of the stick of tobacco on his middle finger, he stared at Jaden who nodded before heading towards the guys.

"Make sure you handle it with care, call me after packing it inside the warehouse" Jaden said to the guys before heading back to Richard who has been focussed on his tobacco stick since they arrived.

"The German client, how was the deal?" Richard asked while walking towards the back of the warehouse.

He squatted as he unlocked a small opening revealing a magnificently built underground, he walked in followed by Jaden. The beautiful interior of the building depicts of wealth, no one could believe such building was situated in such a bushy compound. Richard sat down near his mini bar as he travelled his eyes round his wine collection.

"What are we celebrating?" Jaden asked while observing him.

"What exactly are we celebrating?" Richard asked back while struggling to open the lid of the white wine.

"Oh now I get, to a successful deal, to more wealth and more women to deal with" Richard said as he popped the lid of the wine.

"You are really mad bro" Jaden exclaimed as Richard extends a glass of wine to him.

Richard smiled without saying a word.

"We are thirty million richer today so why shouldn't I act mad?" Richard asked.

"Yeah bro, I'm happy too, more wealth" Jaden replied as he raised his cup for a toast.

 

"That reminds me, your sister looked worried when I saw her in the morning, what happened?" Jaden asked as Richard stared suspiciously at him.

"Why are you concerned about her mood?" Richard asked back.

"I was surprised you know, she is always the every day happy girl so seeing her sad today got me surprised" He said as Richard stared at him before focussing on his drink.

"You don't have to be concerned about her mood, it's non of your business" Richard said as Jaden nodded in submission.

Lovelyn POV,

I smiled at Cherry's jokes as we were coming out of the lecture hall, a car passed us but stopped at a few distance away from us.

The driver's door opened as Jamaima stepped out of the car.

"Hey kid sis" she called as I looked at her direction, sometimes I wonder why she choose to be friendly with me, mere looking at her it's obvious we are from two different world.

"How have you been?" She asked as she waved at Cherry who waved back at her.

"I have been okay" I replied as she smiled.

"About what I told you, what's your answer?" She asked as I was instantly speechless, I totally forgot about her offer.

"Please give me more time to think about it, I promise I will get back to you soon" I replied as she nodded.

"I expect a positive reply" she said " can I have your number?" She added as she brought out her phone.

"Okay" I replied as I called out my number to her while she stored it in her phone.

"Okay I will give you a call" she said before going back to her car.

"Wow" I turned at the voice of Cherry, I almost forgot she has been standing beside me.

She stared suspiciously at me as I stared back at her confused.

"What?" I asked not understanding the reason behind her weird stare at me.

"What relationship do you have with her?" She asked as I stood with hands akimbo.

"She is my friend" I answered as she smirked surprising me.

She started walking home as I followed her.

"You act as if you don't believe me" I said as she finally stopped and stared at me.

"Of course I don't, do you even know whom that lady that just left now is? She is the only sister of Richard Williams, the president of this school and also one of the richest young men of this country" Cherry said as I was really confused on why she was telling me all that.

"So?" I asked as she sighed.

"She can't be your friend" she answered.

"But she is my friend, she even requested I come live with her which I'm still thinking about" I said as she stared at me obviously shocked.

"You are joking right?" She asked.

"I'm serious, according to her she said I'm like a sister to her" I explained.

"Wow this offer is so tempting but also too good to be real" she said as I was getting more confused on her words.

"Anyway goodbye, see you at lecture tomorrow" She said as we went our different ways.

Jamaima POV,

Walking into the sitting room, I sighed as I met Jace smoking away her life.

"Oh no not again" I muttered as she looked up at me and smiled.

"Jace what are you doing to yourself, you were not like this before" I querried as she smiled widely making me more confused.

"Your brother made me this way, yes he did, in order to be a good girlfriend to him I learnt how to smoke, I became a bad girl just for him and what did I got in return, he dumped me, your brother damaged me and left me broken but I guess it was a good idea learning how to smoke from him, atleast smoking is really giving me the succour I need right now" she lamented as I felt heartbroken, I couldn't stand watching my best friend cry in misery all courtesy of my brother.

"I warned you Jace, I warned you about my brother but you didn't listen now see what he has done to you, my brother is just like the devil himself when it comes to women, it's obvious even I can't talk him out of his sex escapades with women that was why I warned you not to fall for him but you paid a deaf ear to me" I said as I sat beside her.

"Do you have to blame me? I was carried away by all his features, you could have done so if you were in my shoes, Jamaima have you seen your brother before, he is so hot, an every ladies dream man" I shook my head not believing she was still fantasizing about him even after what he did to her.

"Jace I know my brother is handsome, yes he is hot and the dream of almost all the women in this campus and so what? Why can't you girls understand the fact that he is using all that to his advantage, he is only bent on using you girls as his sex toys nothing else" I felt like opening her brain to restore sense into her.

"Your brother is my dream man, Jamaima I can't loose him for anything in the world, please help me Jamaima, help me get him back, tell him I promise to do whatever he wants" Jace said as she held my hands. I felt like beating out the stupidity in her but I held my peace and stared on at her without saying a word.

"You know what? I'm tired of all this" I shouted before walking out on her.
