NOTHING HAPPENED BETWEEN BOSS AND ME

CHAPTER 6

****NEXT DAY, BLOOD MOON CARTEL****

"Did you hear the news?"

"I saw her walking out of the boss's room while adjusting her clothes"

"Do you think the boss might have..."

"That's not possible, we know the boss doesn't have anything to do with ladies."

"Who knows? Maybe sparing her, even after making lots of mistakes."

"Are you all here to work or to gossip?" Lady Clara's annoying voice interrupted.

"I'm sorry, my lady" They bowed apologetically.

"You all should leave, I have to prepare the boss's meal," She ordered, and they started leaving the kitchen until they were completely out.

Snow was on her way to Melissa's room because she was assigned to clean Melissa's room that day. Lucky for her, she got to the door and placed a soft knock on it.

"The door is open" she heard Melissa say from inside.

She got inside the room, and Melissa was backing away from the door, so she had no idea who it was.

"Miss, I would like to clean your room," Snow said, addressing her as 'miss' since she was now a worker.

Melissa recognized the voice and turned to look at her, her eyes gleaming with happiness.

"Wow, Snow, I'm glad you're here. I was about preparing to come and see you. "Sorry I couldn't come yesterday, I was busy," Melissa apologized, while Snow stared at her with a shocked expression. She thought her reaction towards her would change since she's now a maid. Guess she thought wrong.

"And why did you address me as 'miss' earlier? I thought we were friends," Melissa complained, though in a playful manner, her eyes showing a clear warmth.

"I'm sorry," Snow said in a low voice to hide her embarrassment.

"Come on, Snow, I can't believe you still haven't gotten used to me. Feel free around me, okay?" Melissa gave her a calm, reassuring smile, which Snow returned.

Snow wanted to start cleaning the room, but Melissa spoke up, "You don't have to do it, I will do it by myself".

Snow stared at her with an amused look, "But I was assigned to clean this room".

"Leave it" Melissa dragged her by the hand and pulled her to sit on the bed.

"What is this I'm hearing about you and the boss? Did you...shag?" Melissa asked.

"Shag? What's that?" Snow asked, her eyes revealing she had no idea what that word meant.

Melissa wanted to act surprised, but remembering Snow's innocent personality, she knew she didn't know the word. She looked around as though someone was eavesdropping on them. She leaned in closer to Snow and whispered, her voice trailing off "Did you and the boss... you know... have sex?"

Snow's cheeks flushed red as she tore her gaze down to her toes at the mention of the "S" word.

Melissa's face instantly lit up. "I knew it. Immediately, the boss ordered your release. I knew he must have developed something for..." Her words got caught by Snow's reply. 

"Nothing happened between the boss and me," Snow said, her eyes showing their utmost seriousness.

"Tell me you're lying," Melissa said, finding it hard to believe, not when the rumor was circulating the whole cartel.

"I'm serious, nothing happened between both of us," Snow insisted.

"Then what's with the rumor of you coming out of the boss's room after an hour of going in, and also adjusting your clothes in the process?" Melissa asked, finding it hard to believe.

If embarrassment were a name, that would have been Snow's name. She was so embarrassed and Melissa wasn't helping matters at all. "I'm telling the truth, nothing of that sort happened".

"I believed that rumor. Silly me," Melissa said, smacking her forehead but stopped, seeming to have remembered something. Her expression turned serious. "Don't let anyone find out what happened especially Viola. Let things remain the way they are".

Snow wanted to know the reason but waved it off. "Maybe it's for the best," she thought.

"Uh, can I ask you something?" Snow said. Melissa stared at her before giving her the go-ahead look. 

Snow was calm, thinking of the right way to put the question, but nevertheless, she decided to ask. "Why is Sir like that?".

"What'd you mean?".

"He looks like one whom the world has been mean to him," she said slowly, "A lot," she added as well.

She's not the curious type, but his cold behavior, and scary personality, together with the way he looks at her, is just something she couldn't ignore, even if she wants to.

"I don't know, Snow, that's just how he is, I guess," Melissa said with an air of uncertainty in her. 

"Believe me, trying to figure out the boss is just like taking an exam," Melissa added.

"Exams have always been easy for me, which means I won't have a problem figuring him out," Snow flipped her hair backward.

Meanwhile, Aurelio was shirtless, doing the thing he knew best, smoking while sitting near the window. His mind was in a mess right now, he was smoking relentlessly as if there was no tomorrow. 

He drifted back to what happened last night, causing a hiss to escape his lips for the umpteenth time.

"H…how do y…you mean s…sir?" He stared at her, short of words, as she curled up her toes and bit her lips. Snow was shaking slightly, which he could sense. He stared at her in total disbelief. Snow could hear his hiss.

He needed to calm himself down. Without saying anything, he made his way to the bathroom, making sure to stay there for more than forty minutes. By the time he got back, he was surprised to see her still standing in the same position. Her feet were already red as hell.

"What are you still doing here?" He couldn't help but ask coldly.

'S…sir you haven't r… released me" She stuttered.

He sighed, "Get out".

She hurriedly put on her clothes and left the room, still adjusting her clothes while he stared at the door for a long time, her image displaying in his head over and over again.

(REALITY)

He slammed his fist on the table, causing the hourglass to fall and shatter into pieces. He clenched his fist and tightened his jaw as he started smoking faster than before, trying to get her off his mind. The cigarette has always done a good job of clearing his mind when it is in a mess, but today it's not working. Taking the cigarette off his lips, he turned it off and kept it on the ashtray.

He didn't understand this sudden desire growing in him. Till now, he couldn't get her off his head, her tiny, wet, pink lips as a result of biting them, those boobs and pinkish nipples that stood firmly on her chest, her belly button being the sexiest thing he had ever seen, then her... She wasn't even his type, that's if he were to have a type.

He ran his hand through his hair as he remembered they had to discuss a mission, which would be a good thing to take his mind off her. He wore his shirt heading off to the meeting room.

****MEETING ROOM****

The chat died down as soon as Aurelio walked into the room, his aura dominating as usual. He walked to a chair and sat down, placing one leg on top of the other.

"Why isn't Sin here?" he asked, noticing Sin's absence.

"I will go get him, boss" Melissa bowed and left, while Viola removed her gaze from Aurelio when she met his cold look that was giving her a warning sign.

Melissa, on reaching Sin's Villa, saw a maid walking out of it while adjusting her clothes.

"We are here waiting for him, and he's here banging that girl. Punk," she thought in her head as she opened the door to see Sin standing naked while checking out his clothes. 

Melissa's eyes went to his bulge, her cheeks turned red, and she immediately turned her back on him.

"You are so shameless, who walks around naked?" She asked, still blushing.

"Hello, this is my room, and I can do what I want. Tell me who barges into someone's room without knocking?" Sin said, putting on his pants.

"I came here to call you, why else would I be here?" Melissa asked rhetorically.

"And stop behaving like this, not as if it's your first time seeing me naked," Sin said.

"You don't have to remind me so rawly, jerk" She faced him.

Sin noticed her red cheeks and asked, "Why are your cheeks red? Are you by chance falling for me?" He winked at her.

"I would rather date an ape than date you", Melissa quickly replied.

"You ain't my choice either, dummy," Sin said.

"You are a..."

"I'm done, can we leave now?" Sin cut her off, knowing she was about to start her usual ranting.

"Whatever" She rolled her eyes as they both left the room.

"Is the meeting about Vicky Chadda?"
