"Why isn't she waking up?" I pace back and forth around the room while Mani lays on the bed, eyes closed. It's been three days since we saved her from Zoey; doctor Fernandez had checked her up and the baby. He was surprised at how strong the baby's heartbeat was, despite everything Mani had to go through.

My baby girl was a fighter, just like her mom. I don't know the sex yet, but I have this feeling deep in my heart that it's going to be a girl. a beautiful girl, just like her mother.

But right now, despite the doctor's assurance that she was going to wake up, here she was, eyes closed.

"She's home, Sin; she is safe." Luca was also in the room, sitting on the couch and watching me pace around the room. "Like Dr. Fernandez said, her body needs to regenerate. She has been through so much; I'm sure she will wake up anytime soon.

"I know, but it's been three days, and I can't stop the anxiety I feel till I see those beautiful blue eyes staring at me again."
