Paula is gone

Molly:

"Oh my God Paula!" I said as I jerked up from bed.

Seeing I was in bed was shocking.I looked around and I saw Rose cleaning up. Then I got out of bed immediately.

"Ma'am is there a problem?" Rose asked, and I looked at her still trying to recall what happened last night.

"How did I get to bed?"

"Sir put you in bed late at night, and he asked me to make sure you are okay. So I stayed overnight, and.."

"Where is Paula?" I questioned, and then she sighed deeply.

This couldn't be happening right now. I didn't even get to say goodbye.

"She left quite early. Sir had his men come pick her up,"

No way! Paula couldn't do this to me. Was she angry that I didn't let her go full on at Farrell? Normal Paula would sneak into my room in the middle of the night and even if I were in a coma, she would force me to pull my eyes open. I really couldn't understand why she did whatever she did.
