Farrell:

For long I had been a coward. I acted tough on the outside but deep down I was nothing more than a hurt child who had to grow up very fast. I had responsibilities stacked on my shoulder at such a young age, and blaming my past was the easiest way to escape reality but I was getting tired.

I hated myself for letting Molly go like that. I wanted to tell her that I would change for her but I had made that promise many times, and I was scared I would fail again. The last time I tried to conquer my past was when she left, and I was saved by Courtney. It almost cost me beating up a defenseless old lady.

The only way to do this was to open up old books, and wounds, then find a way to heal. It would be difficult but there was no other way, and running away from my problems would only keep severing my relationship with Molly.

My thought was cut short by the sound of my phone ringing. I walked over to my bed to see Pedro's name displayed on the screen.
