When I disclosed the information to aunt Tabitha, she moved in to hit Greta but I stood in the way immediately.

"What now?" She asked with her brows wrinkled and her hands on her waist.

I needed Greta to be alive and I feared aunt Tabitha would hit her so much.

How could I not see that this girl was a fraud? I fucking hate my life.

"Get up!" I commanded her, and then she stood up from the ground with her body trembling.

"What freedom do you choose? The freedom from death from my family or the dark Mambas, because my family can wipe them in one swoop," I said, looking into her eyes.

Her beautiful eyes had changed to a bloodthirsty one in eyes.

"I.. want freedom from your family. That's why… why.. I told you in the first place," she said while stammering.
