Dinner night

Molly:

I waited for Kate to return from work while I tried to pick out the best outfit I could possibly wear. I did want to overshadow her dressing, so I decided to be modest.

After a while of searching, I settled for a classy black gown which wasn't too short, and it was flared too.

At that very moment, I heard the sound of keys on the door of the apartment. Knowing it was Kate, I walked out of tht room to greet her with a wide grin but she didn't seem in the mood. Her face was fallen and tired.

"Molly I need to take a bath, because Rye be here any minute," she said, and then she dashed into the hallway.

I totally understood but I couldn't help but notice the fact we were slowly drifting apart. We had grown so much in a few months, and it hurt a bit. Being put in the family way wasn't something I wanted or expected too soon.

"About your job, we'll talk about it when I'm done or over dinner, and I'm sure he'll want to listen to it too!" She yelled, and then I forced a smile on my face
